We stayed at the Vila Camélia in Porto for a week in March. It was an excellent experience! The Lestuzzi family looked after us with great individuality and attention to detail. We felt that they really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our suite was stylishly and comfortably furnished, there was everything we needed and Manuela and her sons were always available. Breakfast was plentiful and there was a special surprise every time. We enjoyed the evening menu at the Vila Camélia twice. Enrico knew how to tell stories and compose music full of flavor with his perfect cooking skills. The wine recommendations were wonderfully descriptive and to the point. The communication was always excellent and if words were not precise enough, the language of the heart was all the more so. Thank you very much for this experience and we hope to see you again! A & J

My friend recommended Vila Camélia to us, and I’m glad they did. Our stay was fantastic. It’s a beautiful place run by a family, couple and their two sons.

The cozy rooms were well-equipped and had their own unique charm, designed by the family themselves. I particularly loved my room’s spacious balcony and ample natural light.

The location was perfect. It’s a cozy neighbourhood, offering tranquility yet within walking distance of everything.

The in-house restaurant, led by Michelin Star chef Enrico (father), served exceptional food.

Special thanks to Enzo (son) and the family for their hospitality and helpful recommendations, which made our stay in Porto truly memorable.

This review is about the restaurant and venue, we are local to Porto so we didn’t stay there. Ok… we went to dinner at Vila Camelia last night for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. The space is beautiful! Romantic lighting, mid century style, and gorgeous art by Hazul. We especially enjoyed the wine and fish courses. It was such a treat to meet the family and learn about the project. They made us a very special by bringing out an anniversary cake too! Don’t miss this very special spot.

A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AFFAIR.
From the moment they open the door to welcome you to the time that you leave this beautiful place, you can experience passion, heart and dedication. The menu is preset, prepared with local and seasonal ingredients creatively combined in a beautiful presentation and delicious flavors. The restaurant is welcoming and cozy with an unassuming yet elegant set. There is a beautiful garden and a private room ready to be used as needed or requested. Last but no least the service and attention are incredible, with a great harmony on every dish served and great attention to detail. Overall a highly recommended experience that will for sure repeat and share with friends in the near future.

Si vous souhaitez un moment suspendu dans le temps c'est l'endroit où allez. Un véritable havre de paix.
Le lieu a été décoré avec goût, le jardin calme et agréable. On y mange divinement bien du petit déjeuner au repas. Sans oublier l'accueil familial rempli de bienveillance.

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée à Vila Camélia et nous avons tout aimé ! Déjà le cadre : le patio est si joli avec son camélia majestueux et la maison si bien rénovée. Et bien sûr la cuisine. Nous avons testé le menu découverte du soir et nous avons tout adoré. Les choix des produits, la cuisson, les assaisonnements ; le chef nous a vraiment régalés. Mention spéciale à l'accueil et au service. La gérante est une formidable hôte à la conversation très agréable.
Plus personnellement : encore un grand merci pour votre accueil et l'anniversaire de notre petite qui restera un moment inoubliable.

Super séjour passé en couple à la Vila Camélia. La chambre est magnifique, la vue est sympa, l'emplacement est calme. Et le restaurant est vraiment excellent. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

What a truly exceptional experience we had at lunch. The service was on point, the place overall charming and the food was outstanding. The dishes were so creative, you almost did not want to eat them. The food was a treat for your eyes and your mouth. Have been here many times and can not wait to come back again!

Não tive ainda o privilégio de conhecer a Vila Camélia, no interior do edifício, contudo é imprescindível deixar aqui umas palavras de louvor à sensibilidade e bom gosto da sua aparência exterior. Como transeunte, a atmosfera cozy e a sua encantadora Camélia, convidam-me a "espreitar" para apreciar a beleza da estética da casa e do seu pequenino jardim. A pitoresca arquitetura, e o reduzido espaço exterior envolvente conferem-lhe muita graciosidade. Agora (Nov. 2023) encontra-se já ricamente adornada com singular magia, para acolher a época natalícia, em que celebramos a Família. Sem dúvida um espaço que desperta a nossa curiosidade e o desejo de conhecer melhor! Muitos Parabéns!

Excelente restaurante de comida francesa no Porto. Pedimos um menu de três etapas com entrada, prato principal e sobremesa. Todos os pratos estavam maravilhosos. O atendimento intimista deixa a experiência ainda mais encantadora. Manoela e família são muito queridos e demonstram que fazer as coisas com amor e em família realmente traz o diferencial nos pratos. Recomendo e espero voltar em breve!
