I have been dealing with grief and depression. I didn’t want to celebrate our anniversary. So my husband decided to take me to this amazing Cajun Country Cottage. And.. This experience was just what I needed. Everything was just Perfect and Peaceful. I want to Thank you for having us as Your guest I truly enjoyed myself..We will definitely be back soon.

Spent a quick weekend and this was the perfect place to stay. Although not far of the main highways, feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Short drive to great food and antique shopping.

This was our second time at this wonderful location and cozy, comfortable house. Can't think of a more relaxing place to be for us. The owners are wonderful, breakfast in the basket in the morning was exceptional, fishing off the deck was relaxing and paddling around in the canoe was so much fun. Thank you for the much needed weekend rest! See you in the fall!

*Update from third trip: visited this wonderful cottage again in December. Cozy fire in the cast iron stove and many fun hours by the lake. Already planning our next weekend trip back here in the late spring!

This is the perfect place to stay while visiting Acadiana. The cottages are on a private lake and adorable. You also get fantastic homemade breakfasts delivered to your door every morning. The owner, Dana, makes some of the best biscuits I've ever had. I also love that she uses local ingredients so you get to try Steen's Cane Syrup on your French toast, boudin (a Cajun sausage), etc. She also has great suggestions on fun places to go.

You can fish their lake, and they have free boats and kayaks to use, too.

Avoid the soulless mass market hotel chains, and stay somewhere unique that you'll actually remember.

I can not stress enough how relaxing this place was. Me and my husband truly left feeling refreshed. The breakfast delivered every morning was homemade and delicious. The solitude and quiet was just what the doctor ordered. The cabin was amazing and well stocked with all necessary things needed. Will be returning!

We stayed here a few weeks ago while we were in town for a wedding, we had a wonderful stay! Cottage had everything we needed and the breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed having coffee on the pier with the ducks and turtles keeping me company.

Awesome hospitality, clean and relaxing place to take a little break from it all. Bread pudding ***** and breakfast ***** all awesome. Love this place.
