Love this place,I come here everytime we have projects and as soon i found this hotel i decided to always book with them.staff have been wonderful and helpful, accidentally left couple things in a hurry and got it back the following week no problem, very professional staff, rooms are clean and on point and very comfy everytime we stay.
Stayed here for a week for business..the bed is soft. The plug in on the lamps to charge your phone does not work.no ice in the whole hotel all 3 floors the ice machines don't work..the website shows a hot tub it's broken out of service..has nice outside sitting area with gas firepit but it is broken also.you have to ask for room service to get towels. Breakfast is limited for what you can order $15 for a bagel with egg and guacamole..a bottle water $6. credit cards only no cash
I’ve stayed at plenty of Marriott’s in Baton Rouge and this has been the worst experience apart from the elevator being broken down I left something in my room when checking out. When I realized it 3 hours later I called the front desk to let them know I forgot it and gave them the exact locations on where to find it. It was gone. And said they couldn’t do anything about it. This was all done within hours of checking out. Never staying here again
This wasn't my worst experience, but it was definitely inconvenient. None of the ice machines worked. Only one elevator worked. There was no microwave in my room and when i asked for one i found that the only one available to the guests was in the lobby. Lastly it was nice having a balcony, but the glass door was clouded and didn't close very easily. Overall, I didn't care for my stay, and I won't be coming back to this Courtyard.
The location to The Woman's Hodpital was convenient. The view was great if you like to see a highway full of cars. The rooms had some wear on them, and not anywhere near as good as the other Courtyards I have stayed at. No one cared the phone was not working in my room or that the HDMI cable was unplugged on the TV. I went to unplug my phone from the rooms desk, and the whole outlet stip pulled out. The only bright spot was a desk clerk named Miles that went out of the way to help. He fixed the reservation that was done wrong by the other clerk and got me into a room. I would have given the service 2 stars if it wasn't for him. This place is probably good for business people, but not for the family vacationing. For me, it was not a great trip and only a 3-star stay.
Was not up to Marriott standards. Run down facility, in need of upgrades. Convient location,, however lots of loud trucks and cars whit big stero systems nearby.
Hotel has been remodeled. Rooms are nice. Exterior is trashed. Yard needs to be mowed. Every ice machine was broken. How does that happen and it didn't happen right before I checked in!
Good location for a visit to see family in Baton Rouge. Seems the hotel has been updated fairly recently. Although one elevator and ice machines out of order. The small cafe downstairs has decent offerings for breakfast. But, if you reserve a King room and are given a queen and then the hotel won’t discount your bill for the difference that’s a problem. We sleep in a king a home so it was obvious we had not nearly the space. Bed was also generally uncomfortable new will find a different alternative next trip.
Lobby reeked of weed, unfriendly staff, all the fire exits/stairs were "out of service" as were all of the ice machines, glasses provided with the room were dirty, the floors were uneven, etc. For an expensive hotel, this place is terrible, save your money.
Overall, it’s a good value for the price! Rooms are clean & are nicely updated. The only reason I give 4 stars is due to the fitness center. It has not been given the same attention that the rest of the hotel has been given. Only 1 treadmill which was out of order, only 2 sets of free weights (very heavy ones so I was unable to use them), it’s very dirty with no cleaning materials offered, and the AC doesn’t work (stuck at 74 in the room despite the cool setting being on 65). Please update your fitness center.
Requested a room with a bathtub upon check in. Was told I "no problem." Get upstairs and room only has a shower. Then the hot water on pure hot was barely luke warm. I report it on the Bonvoy app and no response. Toilet ran all night. Bottom line, management is holding no employees accountable at this location. Avoid.
This hotel is located in a good part of town. You have near by restaurants and fun activities. The hotel staff was polite. The room was clean no odor. I enjoyed my stay. Oh and they had a Starbucks that made that was the icing on the cake for me, lol.
My only recommendation would be update the bathroom in 103 - near the shower the board is severely chipped. With an updated toilet this would be a 5 star room.
We were told on arrival that the fitness center and pool was not open. The sofa bed had no linen I was told to come down and get some. The ottoman has stains. The toilet has missing hardware the sink will not drain. I was told engineering is not on site so the sink being stopped up would h e to wait.
