Este acogedor restaurante vegetariano ofrece una cocina sana e inventiva, en la que priman los sabores y las combinaciones. Por ejemplo, el famoso sándwich BLT -Bacon, Lechuga, Tomate- se revisita en forma de TLT: Tempeh -un producto indonesio a base de soja fermentada-, bacon, Lechuga, Tomate. The Kitchen Mouse también ofrece clásicos mexicanos como los chilaquiles -un plato a base de tortillas y salsa- y los huevos rancheros. Una dirección que se presta tanto al brunch como al almuerzo.

I feel like this place has gotten better with their food and service over time. The space is now bigger now that they have the outside area and the two neighboring stores. There’s a little attached boutique with lots of cute goodies as well. The breakfast tacos are the bomb! I love these delicious little things. I ate everything! Such a highland park staple and if you’re vegan it would be a sin not to stop by.

So great to eat at a place that’s fully gluten free. I heard that they used to not be fully gluten free, but have made changes to be a gf restaurant which luckily has now made it safe for everyone that gluten intolerant and celiac! Absolutely delicious food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Cute restaurant with indoor and some outdoor seating. Bathrooms for patrons available. Definitely recommend!
