Este es el primer albergue que se instala en San Gil. Una gran casa con jardín, bañera de hidromasaje, hamacas y una cocina común bien equipada. Un albergue con dormitorios y habitaciones privadas (baños privados o compartidos), y acogedoras zonas comunes que invitan a relajarse o a conocer a otros viajeros. Shaun, el propietario australiano, y su equipo son amables y tienen buenos consejos sobre las muchas cosas que se pueden hacer en la zona. No cobran comisión por los viajes de las agencias.

Le gros + de l’hostel ce sont les Supers conseils pour les activités sportives du coin : pour chaque activité, ils proposent la meilleure agence de San Gil.

We had a really nice stay at the Macondo hostel. The facilities are really good and the kitchen is well equipped. The rooms and the bathroom were super clean. In the dorm they have a fan and the temperature is really good during the night. But the real highlight of the hostel is the stuff that is super friendly and helpful. They know a lot about the area and give you a lot of advice. We could even leave or bags in the luggage room for a couple of days.

Fantastic hostel, can’t recommend it enough. Shaun and his team helped to coordinate all activities in san Gil and were incredibly helpful with information throughout!

The tours they sell are well selected, I did rafting and it was professional. Prices are fair not much higher or the same as booking with the tour operators.
