We stayed over the Christmas period just gone. Whilst we found the hotel accommodation to be very comfortable and the staff professional and helpful, we were NOT happy with the Christmas dinner we received or were charged for.
We understand that is the peak Christmas period and that we will be charged over inflated prices but we were shocked with what we received. We paid 165 euro for a 5 course meal per adult. The servings were tiny and we were hungry afterwards, a rack of reindeer was 2 tiny little cutlets (we are not big eaters). What upset me the most was the 106 euro charge for our 12 year old son which was a plain burger and a small side of chips! A small bun, a small burger with sauce. No cheese, no bacon, no extras at all. We thought that was an outrageous charge. There was no generosity with the food and the prices were ridiculous. I complained but and was offered a bottle of wine which we didn't want. At check out l said l would pay a reduced rate for the burger but not the full price. The lady checking us out reluctantly said she would take the cost of the burger off. We have arrived home and checked our account to see we were charged the full price. Very disappointing experience.

Thank you for your response Maria. We were charged $760 Australian dollars by your hotel which equates to 439 euro. We prepaid the hotel so this was only charge we made to the hotel to settle prior to check out. I have a screenshot of the charge to my credit card to prove the transaction. If you can please provide me your email address l can email you a copy of this transaction from our bank.
If we had received a decent meal l probably would not have done this review but to be hungry and pay that amount of money was not acceptable. The description of the burger provided was to highlight how small and plain the food was for the charge. We were never told that our son could order an alternative meal from the menu, it was just provided like it was a set meal.

Still no response from this hotel regarding this matter. Maria can you please provide me your email so that we can resolve this charge that was meant to be removed. I am disappointed that there has been a lack of follow-up regarding this matter.

El trato excelente. La comida espectacular. Las habitaciones muy confortables y perfectas. Estuvimos en la sauna y fue todo una muy buena experiencia. Hotel 5estrellas…El personal muy atento y amable. El sábado teniamos el vuelo y el desayuno ya estaba preparado antes de la hora. Nos llamaron ellos mismos el taxi. Ha sido una estancia perfecta …muchas gracias a todo el personal del hotel por habernos hecho pasar unos dias tan agradables …sin duda repetiremos ????

The Location was great

Lovely experience with them and the breakfast was really very nice…
I would suggest the souvenirs and the Bar in the Room are CHARGEABLE …For any item u take or use from the minibar they are all Chargeable…Even the Chocolates…
So, even if cute souvenirs are decorated in your bed for seeming like a welcome gift !! I’m sorry! U r WRONG…for It u have pay Money,while checking Out…
But rest it was a really Cozy Stay and they have given us the key by 12ish so we got freshen up as we have trips on that day!! and the location was really good .

Nice and good place for holiday ????

During the Check-in the receptionist attentively noticed that we will stay for my birthday, yet on that day there was no sight of a little treat. I usually spend my birthdays in hotels and always I have received a little something...
Anyway, the room was really nice with the wall full of stars behind the bed!
On the website, there is a little polar teddy bear sitting on the bed, which we were hoping to find on ours as well.
And so we did, but there was a price tag on it which said 19 Euros! We really expected it to be a giveaway.. That also seems like a trap for parents who are probably forced to buy it since it is already there.
The christmas lighting just outside infront of our window was never switched off, so it was bright inside of the room throughout all the night. Also the fridge was pretty noisy.
But the breakfast was as amazing as we heard it would be. They had everything you can dream of and more.

Stayed here years ago in 2016, Christmas period. It was one of the best memories in my life. So pretty, cosy and just so magical, so much so that I still remember to date. There is even a free plushie during my stay!

Schönes gemütliches Hotel wo man sich wohl fühlt. Auch die beiden Herren an der Rezeption (Mark & Max) waren immer Hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Ergänzt wird das ganze von einem reichhaltigen Frühstück im dazugehörigen Restaurant, welches ich auch für ein Abendessen weiterempfehlen kann.

Einziger Negativpunkt ist die Bar bzw. der Betrieb da. Die Drinks sind super aber leider wartet man jeweils ewig bis man bedient wird oder dann zahlen kann... deshalb muss ich beim Service ein Stern abziehen...

Very recomended Hotel, Especially MR. MARK -MANAGER, he is very helping and very nice person..I hope he will be faster to the next level for his career....thanks you soo much Mr. Mark...

Zimmer an sich ok, aber das Bad ganz in schwarz ist sehr unpraktisch. Vor allem wegen unzureichender Beleuchtung . Man sieht nur wenig. Frühstück ist sehr gut und auch dad Restaurant kann man empfehlen

We had such a lovely time at Arctic Light. The staff was amazing (especially Max and Mark from reception) and so welcoming. Our rooms were beautiful and every detail was thought through for a comfortable stay. The hotel aesthetic was beautiful. We enjoyed our evenings at the lobby bar and everything was easy to walk to from the hotel. 10/10 stay for us!

Très bon hôtel. Les chambres sont plutôt spacieuses et agréables. Le sol de la salle de bain est chauffée, le restaurant de l'hôtel est très bon. Le personnel de l'hôtel est plutôt chaleureux et accueillant. Je mets une étoile en moins car il y a eu un incident dans le nettoyage de notre chambre.

The hotel is very cozy, extremely convenient in terms of location and staff are friendly and helpful. Joni and Mark have been amazing in arranging our sauna stay and transport. We had a really good time staying here.
