Lady at the reception and restaurant were friendly. Rooms are dated, shower drainage didn’t work properly so bathroom was half flooded. Paint damaged, just all a bit tired. The restaurant food was absolutely terrible and the ambiance is non existing (more like a funeral hall)

Vraiment très bien.
C'est un hôtel de brousse, très bien situé. Les chambres sont spacieuses. L'accueil est chaleureux. Le confort est au rdv. Piscine chauffée. Prêt de serviettes. Équipements pour les enfants. Espaces verts parfaitement entretenus. Accès plage (pour les apacarophile matinals, c'est face au soleil levant ???? un régal).
Environnement calme, bercé par les oiseaux, et même si la route passe derrière, on n'est pas dérangé.
Au restaurant on y mange bien. Les plats sont très copieux. Les pizzas sont grandes et très bonnes. Sur le plat principal, la viande est d'excellente qualité. La cuisine est fine, et le service est de qualité. Les tarifs très corrects. Certains jours il y a un buffet à volonté avec, des poissons marinés, et un vaste choix de crudités, plusieurs plats chauds, et de nombreux desserts, un délice.
Vraiment rien en à redire. ????????
Nous sommes venus pour fêter l'anniversaire de ma fille, le personnel s'est mis en quatre pour présenter un gâteau en surprise en fin de repas, chant d'anniversaire, bougies, chaleureux sourires, tout y était. Tout en délicatesse.
Et un gâteau digne des meilleurs pâtissiers, était vraiment très bon.
Excellent séjour pour nous.
Nous y reviendrons avec joie si l'occasion se présente.

It's a nice little hotel. A bit tired. Needs some TLC, including a replacement of all boardwalks. Also, the carpark has pot holes that are 20cm deep and 50cm wide.
They put us (couple with adult daughter) in a room with a queen bed and a mezzanine floor accessible only via an almost vertical set of narrow stairs (exciting for a 10yr old child perhaps?) We'd specially booked a 2 bedroom family suite. This was not that!
Luckily it is very quiet, tourist wise, so we were able to swap to 2 separately situated cabins- the receptionist was kind enough to realise the error and they sorted the issue quickly
The food at the restaurant is expensive and not very good - we ate outside of the hotel most nights as a result.
Drinks were nice. Atmosphere nice. Pool is good. Location outstanding. Staff very friendly
Needs tourism to pick up again post 2024 political upheaval in New Caledonia - then they need to pump a LOT of money into the place to bring it up to standard

This resort looks amazing in the photos, but in reality it is tired and in need of renovation. There were many things which needed fixing and listed amenities were either broken or not present - table tennis, pool table etc. The pool area is nice but the beach is not great for swimming. |The rooms were clean and large but lacking character or generosity. The restaurant was expensive and had only one vegetarian option at $50. We only ate there one night during our stay and instead went to the local supermarket to buy food. The hotel is not very helpful when it comes to organising local activities and none of the staff speak English other than at the most basic level. |This is overpriced for what it is delivers which is a shame as the location is great and there is great potential here. There is also a lot of tension with the local Kanak people outside of the resort which did not make us feel welcome.

Excellent séjour dans cet établissement …. Un bungalow face a la plage… magique! Un accueil chaleureux et une extrême gentillesse de l’ensemble du personnel ! Je vous invite à découvrir le restaurant…. Le chef nous a cuisiné des dîners délicieux chaque soir sur demande ! Un grand merci, nous reviendrons c’est certain !

Nous avons passé 5 jours de détente dans ce très agréable hôtel, très bien situé, calme, avec beaucoup de petits aménagements pour les enfants. Piscine très appréciée par nos enfants. Le personnel est des plus accueillants, gentil et fait son max pour nous rendre le séjour sympa. La pâtissière a fait le meilleur gâteau d’anniversaire qu’on ait jamais mangé ! On adore venir ici et on n’est jamais déçu ! <3

We stayed here on night enroute to the north east and were pleasantly surprised to find this large comfortable resort right on the beach.

Our room was very spacious and clean and the bathroom was huge. Everything worked well except the fridge which wasn’t that but a freezer instead….:)

Service was lovely—such kind ladies at reception and in the restaurant. We were lucky to have their Saturday night buffet which was fabulous. Loads of fresh salads, vegetables and fruit which we have been craving g since we got to NC. And they catered to us vegetarians in adjusting the price accordingly—very fair.

The desserts were to die for and the protective dome around the deserts which you raise and lower is very cool!

Our only regret was not staying longer as you can also dive, rent SUPs, play pétanque, etc.

Stayed 5 nights at Hotel Tieti then extended by an extra night as such a fantastic place.
Stayed in a beachside bungalow with the sea 15 metres away. Accommodation is clean, well maintained and spacious. Staff are amazing and so helpful about everything. Price is amazingly cheap for New Caledonia. On site restaurant offers great food all day and is a wonderful spot to relax in during the evening. As others have said, petrol, groceries, a pharmacy and ATMs are only a short walk away. Beach is near perfect and the water beautifully warm.
There is a great pool by the restaurant so you can choose to relax there. Only tip is to stay waist deep in the sea if you are in any way worried about sea creatures.
This place is a gem of a hotel and a huge thanks to Yves and his team for the service and making our stay so memorable.
Its a heck of a drive to get there but oh so worth it !

L'Hotel Tieti is an absolute gem of a place hidden 300kms north of Noumea on the West Coast of New Caledonia. Built in the mid 1980's, it is looking a little bit aged in some places but apart from that this hotel is superb. It is about a 4 hour drive north from Noumea and the roads are of a reasonable standard all the way.||We stayed in a beachside bungalow and the staff and management (especially the Manager Yves) fell over themselves to make us feel welcome, safe and looked after. ||We were literally 15 metres from the white sand beach and the warm tropical waters. This hotel is very affordable and certainly popular with many folks, especially on long weekends. ||The accommodation is clean, well maintained and comfortable and everything is provided. Cooking facilities in the rooms are limited as the hotel restaurant is so well patronised, accessible and provides everything you could need. We did make our own breakfast, but other than that we generally dined at the hotel restaurant where the food is superb, plentiful and affordable. ||There is a fantastic pool by the restaurant and parking is in front of the reception with access to the bungalows by a system of boardwalks. This hotel is very well priced and affordable, by both New Caledonia standards and internationally. ||It is very near to a township called Poindomie which has several smaller supermarkets, ATMs and a pharmacy so everything you may need is very close. There is also a well regarded Dive business nearby. This hotel is a good base to use to explore further North (but the roads do get a bit rocky up there), as well as simply relax on the sand or in the water (but stay about waist deep in the sea). We highly recommend L'Hotel Tieti for an amazing New Caledonia get away.

This is my second hotel that I stayed, in Nouvelle Caledonie, and it wasn't my favourite. I did find it fun walking along the beach and the thought about living in a bungalow was nice but compared to the beaches in Bourail and Noumea, this beach wouldn't compare. The amenities given were pretty good, the bed was comfortable and the bar/ restaurant were amazing to go out with friends and have a good time. However, I feel like this location in Poindimie wasn't the best because there wasn't anything especially memorable there. And the downside of living in a bungalow is the amount of bugs and insects. Throughout the two days I spent living here, I found a lot of interesting insects: a giant snail, a giant grasshopper, a lizard and a bunch of flies. I recommend bringing bug spray if you live here!

Clean, good size rooms, good restaurant menu, friendly staff, good pool. Dive Tieti is next door. Good for English speakers. Petrol nearby. Walking distance to croissants, petrol station convenience store, supermarket. Also quite good for birdwatching ????

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits en chambre familiale.
L'accueil et le personnel à été très chaleureux.
Les chambres sont assez spacieuses et ont du être refaites il y a peu de temps car elles étaient en excellent état. Literie de bonne qualité.
Petit déjeuner sympa sans être trop ouf.
Les 2 soirs ou nous avons été au restaurant, les menus étaient les mêmes. Choix entre 2 plats.
Nous avions quand même un buffet qui nous a permis de changer de menus. Les plats étaient néanmoins copieux (surtout le Burger enfant)
Cet hôtel est à mes yeux une valeur sûre.

Cadre magnifique, les bungalow plage sont bercés par le son des vagues. Chambre spacieuse, juste dommage que le spa n'était pas fonctionnel. Dommage que ce vendredi là le repas du soir était à la carte. Le repas est bon et les formules pour enfants sont diversifiés. Personnel sympathique.

On arrival didn't receive the bungalow we paid for with Qantas, and no one in reception spoke English except to say full. We were put in a sub standard room and nothing like we booked. Not recommended for the price.
