It's a small nice place to spend a few nights. Nit much english people around. It is clean and quiet.

Great hostel for budget travellers, friendly and helpful staff. Double room is perfect if don't want to shared dorms. Comfortable and secure

Super Lage, gutes Preisleistungsverhältnis, gutes WiFi, bequeme Betten mit Mosquitonetzen und AC im Zimmer. Leider akzeptieren die nur MZN oder Kartenzahlung und keine US$. Dazu ist kann die Rezeptionsdame kein Englisch, was das Nichtbeantworten von meinen Emails erklären würde.

Good hostel in Maputo. Clean bathrooms, rooms are ok, matresses a bit worn through but with mosquitonets. Location is quite good not too far from downtown. Staff is helpful

Well I'm not a backpacker but I enjoyed being here. I love all the cleaning ladies and the place is clean especially the bathrooms seeing that I'm a clean person. Every employee is helpful and from the terrace you can see the ocean. The place is in the city and most of the sight seeing are a walk away aswell as all the ATMs, restaurants, money exchange

Clean & quiet place in the centre of Maputo. Wifi worked decently. The bunk beds, though comfortable, were a bit too small for me.

Good value for money. Place to meet all kinds of young people. Had fun while staying there. Quite central which is a plus.

The Base Backpackers is a great Place to stay in Maputo. The Prices are low (1000MT per Night/person) if you book at the Place. The Staff is friendly and very helpful in every Situation. The Security is good and you have access at all times. The View from the terrace is Beautiful and the Options for Drinks are reasonable. Right in front you have a gas station where you can find more options. Overall a great Stay, would recommend!

Un lieu fidèle au descriptif du Petit Futé, simple et sympa. Le gérant est vraiment cool et n'hésitera pas à vous indiquer les lieux les plus sympas de la ville selon lui.
