El hotel Gabbia d'Oro (jaula dorada) merece su nombre. En este pequeño escrito de buen gusto y refinamiento, nada se deja al azar. Tapices y tejidos refinados, mobiliario antiguo, flores y veranda iluminada a la luz de la vela, todo está hecho para que tu estancia en Verona (romántico o no) sea inolvidable.

Excellent location right in the middle of everything, no need to get taxis. Service is impeccable. The lobby, lounge and dining areas are beautiful straight from a movie. The rooms could definitely use some work, that was the only downside of our experience. The bathroom didn’t even have body lotion, the room had a shutter/window locked at night which was an unpleasant experience as we felt trapped. Overall, only downside was the room, as it also felt too small and tight, filled with unnecessary furniture in such a small space.

I had two friends staying here for 4 days , with a great plan : discovering Verona , and Veneto ! Location is extraordinary, in the heart of the city , so you can simply walk around very easily! The service was excellent! They were very happy! Thank you

Splendido palazzo del 1700 arredato con gusto in stile inglese, dietro alla piazza del mercato, centralissimo, con valet parking. A 10 minuti a piedi dall’Arena. Le camere sono molto carine, silenziose, in quanto si affacciano su una strada pedonale. Molto charme nel ristorante che è in un giardino interno bellissimo. Anche la sala della colazione è notevole, affrescata, e nel buffet c’è tutto quello che puoi desiderare. Servizio ottimo, room service con grande scelta di teas, che ho apprezzato molto.

Friendly staff and welcome, but we stayed in 2 small, dated rooms en-suite, which were sold as a 'junior suite'.

The standard was far from what you can expect from a property that is categorised 5 star. Bathroom has not been renovated for years. Would not have looked at this property, had it been categorised correctly.
