Une maison magnifique dans un parc arboré, j'ai adoré ce lieu très calme, la gentillesse du personnel et le confort des chambres plus que spacieuse, tout à côté de Lucques on apprécie le charme de la campagne. À ne pas manquer.

Endroit magnifique,, personnel très agreable, nous y retournons pour la 3eme fois.
Super bien placé à côté de Pise, lucca et de viarregio.

Non ho soggiornato in questo Hotel. La Villa è "nascosta" nel verde di un bellissimo Parco alla francese, dimora antica che appartenne alle famigli più importanti della lucchesia ... a partire da Castruccio Castracani degli Anterminelli, Signore di Lucca, che la scelse nel '300 come dimora e corte della Signoria. Ma fu certamente con l'arrivo nella Città della Principessa Elisa Baciocchi Buonaparte nel 1805, con il "movimento" di dignitari, gentiluomini e diplomatici al seguito, che nei dintorni e in collina sorsero stupende Ville, o si ampliarono quelle già esistenti, che tutt'oggi possiamo ancora ammirare. C'è un piccolo aneddoto riguardo il nome attribuito alla Villa ... "La Principessa". Non si conosce bene la scelta del nome, forse un "mistero galante" o un "intrigo politico" a tempi dei Borbone-Parma, ultimi regnanti del Ducato di Lucca (piccolo Stato certamente ma, come sappiamo, importante nel "ridisegnare" l'Italia dopo la "tribolata" stagione napoleonica) che scelsero la magione come luogo di rappresentanza e foresteria per i propri ospiti. Sono stato a Villa La Principessa perché a breve ci sarà "Lucca Città di Carta", dedicata al libro, e volevo vedere uno dei luoghi scelti per il festival. Posso solo segnalare la squisita gentilezza del personale che non solo ha dato preziose informazioni ma mi ha permesso di visitare i luoghi dove si svolgerà l'evento. Oltre ciò mi è stato donato un piccolo opuscolo da dove ho tratto le informazioni riguardo questa splendida Villa.

Luogo incantato, dimora storica immersa nel verde di un parco superbo... un incanto che fa immergere in un luogo e un tempo passati, in un sogno!

Absolutely stunning villa. Beautiful grounds. Room was spacious. Newly renovated bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Free parking and wifi. Free breakfast is great. Perfect location. Near Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Would highly recommend.

First off I highly recommend getting a car to stay at this hotel. It made our stay so much easier.
This hotel is exactly what we thought of when we thought “Tuscany.” We are a family of 3 and the room was very spacious, and unique. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean and the shower was hot. The room came with its own A/C. And a nice view into the backyard. The staff was very polite and professional. I had asked them to leave a happy birthday note for our daughter and they surprised us with a little wrapped gift for her instead! She loved it.
The restaurant at the hotel has Excellent food! So delicious we ate their twice (the menu changed by day).
The breakfast they offer in the morning is abundant! They had 4 different types of juice, various pastries, fresh fruit (pears, plums, bananas, grapes, and apples) pancakes, eggs, sausages, cereal, oatmeal, toast with multiple spreads.

Esperienza meravigliosa. La villa è stupenda, sembra di vivere fuori dal mondo. Le camere un pochino datate ma dotate di tutti i comfort. La piscina e il giardino è a dir poco stupenda. personale super accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Colazione abbondante e di qualità.
La consiglio a tutti!

We've spent many nights here since first coming in 2011. It's one of our very favourite hotels. You do need a car (though there are buses into Lucca and to Pisa - get the app first - and of course there are taxis) but parking is easy and generous. We have stayed in many.of the rooms and while even the standard ones are nice, we do think it's worth paying a bit extra for the really lovely ones. The pool is great and the catering very good (breakfast at the back near the pool; dinner at the front overlooking the park). The villa itself is very romantic, one of Princess Pauline Borghese's country villas (hence the name) - ideal for a couple.

Un hôtel sympathique et avec un personnel sympathique.
C’est un peu vieillot.
Le petit déjeuner est correct.
La piscine est grande et pas mal du tout.

Historisk byggnad och miljö med anor från 1200 talet, härlig miljö med stor pool där man erbjuder handukar till gäster, här serveras även snacks och dryck vid poolen.

Mycket bra frukost, man kan även äta lunch på dagen samt middag på kvällen.

Bra parkeringsmöjligheter där man även kan hitta en skuggig plats till bilen.

Fantastiskt helt underbar personal med fokus på service.

Mycket nära den vackra staden Lucca samt ca 15 km till Pisa.
