Unfortunately I can't recommend staying at this hotel, we choose this hotel due to the private jacuzzi, reviews, and location.

For the price ($300+/night)this hotel is incredibly disappointing. During our stay they had construction going on above us, causing noise, and debris to fall into our room and didnt tell us there would be construction until the debris had been noticed.

One of the major issues we had was cleanliness, construction debris we can understand however the cupboards had dirt in them, the bathroom had spider webs.

Second major issue was the Jacuzzi, seeing as I paid extra for this room I'd hope they offered something that worked. The shower would spray outside the tub causing you to clean the very wet floor after every shower, the spray nozzle for the Jacuzzi didn't have the option to just use that, stepping into the tub it would make noises as if it was not secured properly and youd worry that you'd fall through.

Other things to note,
This hotel is very stingy, for the price you pay you'd expect to be offered amenities for the length of your stay, we had to request new bathrobes when the cleaner took our old ones, had to request new soap when the cleaner threw the empty one out and we received shampoo, lotion, and conditioner instead of shower gel.
The electrical in the bathroom is shot and when dimming the lights they turn on and off, but also randomly flicker while you're in there.
Plug in behind the bed would act up and reset the alarm clock next to the bed and messed with our phone chargers.
First bathrobe when arriving had a hole in it.
You don't get access to the remote for the mini split (you pay enough for the room, you should be able to control the temp)
Patio door doesn't lock leaving you concerned for your safety while there.
Garbages weren't emptied every day, leaving us with a full garbage during our stay.
When advising staff of some of these items, they had to come up to "verify", which is disruptive and frankly insulting. Why would someone lie about having no bathrobe or soap.

Seeing as some of these are minor items, we did not mention every one of them during our stay. The items we did mention were things that Inconvenienced us the most, and although staff, after verifying were quick to bring the items to us, the verification process took extra time away from us enjoying our meals and downtime.

Staff were polite however these items shouldn't have been missed in the first place, maybe they can come up with a better process to bringing clients items missing (aka bring the item up WITH you when you do verification)

I am disappointed in my stay at this hotel as I would have gotten better service at a chain hotel. A chain hotel would have advised us in advance of any maintenance/construction occurring during the length of your stay and would have offered a significant discount or a free nights stay. I do understand these things can pop up suddenly however do not feel paying full price with the amount of noise and debris was fair. If this was construction as they advised us, it would have been planned prior to our arrival and we should have been notified.

I cannot speak more highly about the staff here. They were so helpful in storing my skis, finding my lost earrings, and going above and beyond to get me super high speed internet so that I could work virtually. Incredible service

Belle expérience en couple dans cette belle suite. La chambre était parfaitement propre, très bien pensée et aménagée. Les petits détails ont été très appréciés.
Le lit king size ainsi que la literie étaient vraiment confortables et doux.
La baignoire spa est très agréable bien qu'un peu petite. Le petit bémol : la douche. Impossible de régler la température correctement : soit trop chaud soit trop froid....
Service très professionnel et agréable.
Une belle adresse malgré un prix tout de même assez onéreux.

Appartement bien aménagé et décoré avec un thème africain. Le bain tourbillon fonctionne bien et la salle de bain est très pratique. Le service est irréprochable et la proximité du métro Sherbrooke pratique.

The rooms and everything were nice however small issues with door not unlocking and the stove top not working was a setback I’m sure it’s all fixed and I had a little bad luck. I would visit again

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à cet hôtel. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter Montréal et s'offrir de bons repas. Le service était impeccable.

Amazing friendly staff. Super clean room. Room has lots of options. I felt totally cared for. They did more than I expected! Totally recommend!

This hotel was wonderful to stay at. A true hidden gem. We stayed in the junior suite and it was truly exceptional and one of the nicest and most unique hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. Extremely clean with a romantic feel to it. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. We will be returning and staying there again!!

Hotel Kutuma is at an awesome location in walking distance to the Mile End area with restaurants and shops galore. The owners are SO nice and welcoming - one of them even helped carry out bags out to the cab in the pouring rain. Room was beautiful and clean - huge bed and tub. Cool lights give it a fun vibe that sets it apart from other hotels.

J'adore ce restaurant. Il est toujours aussi bon qu'il y a 10 ans. L'accueil a été très chaleureux et c'était agréable de parler avec notre serveur de l'Éthiopie et de l'histoire de la région. Merci et à la prochaine!

My husband and I wanted a cozy romantic getaway for our anniversary. This place was perfect and the hospitality from the staff was incredible. We were brought up breakfast with lattes which were delicious!!! Everything was wonderful. We would definitely go back!

I went there for the Nil Bleu. The good is amazing and servers are so nice. Super recommend

Warm staff and unique and cool rooms. We had a lovely time here. The food at the attached restaurant was also delicious.

Littéralement situé au milieu de tout. C'est le meilleur endroit possible dans le célèbre quartier du Plateau : cafés, bars, restaurants, ... downtown accessible à pieds, ...

L'hôtel est confortable et le personnel très accueillant.

We went to Montreal for a long weekend. We had booked hotel kutuma earlier online. We reached Montreal in the morning at 6:30 AM. Our check in was at 2-3 PM. The person present in the Hotel Kutuma was so kind that he opened the door of the hotel so early in the morning so that we could keep our luggage and the person explore the place and come back at the check in time. He also allowed us to use the restroom so that we can get fresh and then head out. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. They provided us with an iron, fridge, microwave,locker,coffee machine and coffee pods, dishes to have food and an umbrella as well. I was very impressed with the neatness. The room is located at such a place where different varieties of food places are at walkable distance and also there are many shopping places as well. I highly recommend this place for staying.
I will surely visit again.

Un superbe petit hôtel très bien situé avec des chambres magnifiques. Très recommandé!

Chambre spacieuse, salle de bain magnifique, coin cuisine bien équipé (frigidaire, micro-onde, bouilloire, cafetière, ustensiles de cuisine, couverts). Personnel aimable, à l'écoute du client. Emplacement proche d'une station de métro.
En fin de semaine, le restaurant en dessous est un peu bruyant.
