Met een groep meiden de tour en cocktail academy gevolgt. Mega leuke middag gehad. Kan dit echt aanraden als je een leuke activiteit zoekt met een vriendinnengroep. Personeel is erg aardig en enthousiast. De cocktail academy workshop was leuk om te volgen. We hebben geleerd om 3 cocktail te maken van makkelijk tot moeilijk.

I have never heard of bols and it was good to learn about the history of the brand. The tour is interactive with things to watch, smell and listen so good for people who find museums to be boring. However be we warned that you are paying to be marketed at. You do get a cocktail with the ticket and there is an audio guide that is free.

The attraction had the possibility of being much better than it was. I felt that the curators could have placed more emphasis on production of the liqueur and more information surrounding the trade / history. Overall OK, the cocktail made the visit worthwhile but I wouldn’t go again.

The museum was a nice self guided tour through the history of genever and how the house of bols came to exist. However what captured us was the cocktail workshop that was led by Maia. They were very knowledgeable and just an amazing person to meet and be around with a great personality. I would return just to have another workshop with Maia.

Visited House of Bols in early April 2024. It was a really unique experience where you can learn the history of Europe's first cocktail brand. It shows the distilling process in depth with interactive guides throughout. It is also good because the standard ticket price includes a cocktail of your choice at the bar towards the end, with upgrades available for more cocktails or a cocktail making class. It is open daily from 1:00pm-6:30pm and Friday/Saturday until 9pm. Very easy to find (opposite Van Gogh museum). Use the code minicard for 20% off when booking online.

Superleuk, geen wachttijd als je reserveert. De aanvullende cocktail workshop bijgeboekt was ook een aanrader alhoewel het tempo van de vooraf bepaalde cocktails best hoog lag omdat je in circa 30 minuten 2 cocktails maakt.

Met auto parkeren bij Museumplein is circa 33 euro voor 2,5 euro dus beter OV gebruiken. Leuke ervaring en van historisch besef.

Esperienza divertente, interessante e direi incentrata sul senso dell' olfatto in questo mini museo sulla storia di Mr Bols.
Cocktail buonissimi e particolari.
Consiglio questa esperienza se amate il mondo del gin, o meglio del Jenever.

The Bols Cocktail Experience is cool but pretty short. The Cocktails at the end are very good and the bartenders are friendly.

The whole experience was nice.
Museum tour was good, however the cocktail making workshop and its instructor, Sirjan, were super cool!

Erg informatief en leuk. Vooral gezellig om een groep te doen. Wij hebben het museum gedaan wat we erg interessant vonden en daarna een workshop cocktails maken. Wij vonden de dame die het gaf wel erg streng, dat was jammer en niet nodig, omdat we er voor ons plezier waren. Ook waren we met een hele groep Nederlandstalige mensen en de workshop werd alsnog gedaan in het veel te snelle Engels met een ander accent en omdat het best rumoerig is in de ruimte is dat lastig te volgen. Misschien een tip om te vragen of je een Engels of Nederlandlandstalige workshop wilt bij wonen bij de inschrijving. Maar al met al vonden we het verrassend leuk en lekker.

This was one of our favourite booked activities in Amsterdam. Good value and so much fun throughout the museum as there is lots to do. I would recommend doing the cocktail making.

Very interesting to learn about the genever and cocktails history. The museum is very nice, lot of colors and different experiences. Also - the cocktail at the end is a great way to finish the tour. You can buy different genevers in the museum shop and if you buy the premium entrance you get a nice gift! It was a bit crowded... so just be patient and have this in mind.

Just had a very nice experience! A lot more than we had expected. Interesting design, made me happy! Helpful and service minded people.. Great drink at the end of the tour. Talkative guys in the shop ended our tour with extra value. Nothing at all to complain about.

Fun tour. Impressive history. Tasty drinks. Definitely recommend adding the cocktail class as well. Jordy was a fantastic teacher and taught our group how to make some tasty drinks, while also introducing us to the basics of mixology. Super fun and a great follow up to the Van Gogh museum right across the street. Give yourself two hours here if you booked the cocktail workshop (one hour without).

En plus d'avoir pu visiter un musée pratiquement seuls et donc à notre rythme nous avons été surpris de la qualité du service des verres gratuits à la fin du tour, la barmaid faisait tourner les bouteilles c'était joli à voir !
Les cocktails étaient délicieux !

Leuke ervaring. Kende het alleen van de jenever en genezer. Maar blijkbaar hebben ze veel meer dranken voor cocktails.
Wij hadden een cocktail workshop erbij. Was wel leuk. Naast de ervaring van het museum dat erg veel op interactie was(ruiken) kon je een container drinken. Hierna zaten bij de workshop van ongeveer een half uur 2 containers bij die al van te voren waren gekozen. Was voor het bedrag best leuk. 3 cocktails met uitleg en een ervaring rijken van ongeveer 2 uur. Zeker leuk om mee te maken. Maar vooral voor toeristen bedoelt. Als Amsterdammer kan je beter zelf een kopstoot bestellen in een bruine kroeg. Cocktails zonder jenever zijn vaak beter.

Such a fun experience! We did the tour and cocktail making class. The museum is cool, but the class was the highlight! We made 2 cocktails and learned a ton about bartending and traditional cocktails. One of our favorite tours in Amsterdam!

Intéressant! un tour de 45min avec une dégustation d'une demi heure à la fin pour 15€, ce n'est pas exagéré, bien que les 45 min passent un peu vite.
Ce musée mise tout sur l'expérience, il est original et plutôt bien structuré.

Bien plus qu'un musée qui vous fait découvrir la liqueur de genièvre, cette visite est une vraie expérience olfactive!
A l'entrée, on vous remet un jeton et une mignonette de liqueur.
Ensuite, vous pénétrez dans un musée un peu sombre qui met tous vos sens en éveil: le couloir avec toutes les liqueurs parfumées à sentir, la pièce dans laquelle le sol vibre et où vous devez goûter votre liqueur, le bar où vous pouvez apprendre à jongler et où vous pouvez déguster le cocktail de votre choix.
Une sortie vraiment originale!
