Hotel histórico con spa, piscina y restaurante, a poca distancia del distrito Pijp de Ámsterdam.
El Hotel Pestana se ha instalado en un atractivo edificio histórico (antiguo ayuntamiento y, posteriormente, archivos municipales). Consta de dos edificios originales y otros dos más modernos. La elegante decoración combina los clásicos portugueses con los detalles históricos de Ámsterdam (esculturas, escalera monumental, etc.). Todo está pensado para que el viajero pase una estancia inolvidable en una de sus 154 habitaciones. El spa, que incluye una agradable piscina, y el restaurante completarán una estancia excepcional a dos pasos del barrio de Pijp.

Honnêtement j’ai été super déçu de l’hôtel.
Pour un hôtel 5 étoiles, ce n’est pas à la hauteur.
Les chambres sont bien différentes de celles présentes sur les sites, notre chambre était beaucoup plus petite que ce que nous imaginions, la salle de bain les toilettes le dressing et l’entrée ne font qu’un.
Les cuisines ferment à 21h alors que cela mentionne 22h. Nous avons eu le problème un samedi et un dimanche.
La piscine intérieur n’est pas chauffé.
Cependant l’hôtel est beau et propre.
Enfin le tramway est à proximité de l’hôtel mais vous n’avez pas grand chose à faire dans le quartier.

This hotel is decent. Has the basics - however I was not a fan of the lighting in the rooms nor the space. The pull out sofa bed was not comfortable. This is located outside the main things in Amsterdam - so you’d have to take tram or Uber. It’s not a bad place to stay but I def think it could be better. I’m not sure if there’s a school right next to the back building they have - but it can be loud sometimes due to the kids.

One of the worst hotels I’ve been to staff are very rude they have no manners seems like this hotel will hire anyone including the fo manager no wonder the staff are bad if thats their example, you need to walk up huge steps to get to the hotel not ideal for big luggage bellboy doesn’t help you, no i wouldn’t come here again the lobby was very dull felt like a 3* at the most which was very disappointing indeed. They need to take a leaf out of hotels such as the peninsula, mandarin oriental for a proper 5* experience and standard.

I had a couple of issues with my room (broken shower head and a room with no desk) that were sorted in minutes. There was also an authentic warmth and passion for their craft at breakfast and dinner. The breakfast itself has a wide variety of super high quality options - there's 5 different types of muesli, beautiful pastries, several fresh loaves of bread, hot food, cold cuts, fresh fruit, fresh orange juice...
The gym is also well above average for a hotel. Well equipped, open from 6am and more spacious than normal.
There were a few niggles. The lack of a desk was a head scratcher as was the lighting - the rooms take moody lighting to an extreme! A broken shower head and broken towel hook felt like quite a lot of broken stuff for one bathroom.
