Habitación con terraza en la azotea en un hotel con bar-restaurante en la azotea, uno de los más bonitos de Stone Town.
Este hotel boutique es una pequeña joya histórica, alojada en el edificio árabe de 1870 perteneciente al comerciante Tharia Topan. Cada una de las nueve habitaciones es un encantamiento de cojines, telas, muebles preciosos y detalles lujosos. Las mil y una noches en tiempos de los sultanes. Las habitaciones más altas ofrecen vistas al bosque de tejados, como la Suite Sultan Seyyid, o la Suite Torre y su azotea. Unos altos escalones a través de un verde patio interior conducen al bar-restaurante de la azotea, donde todas las noches se cena al son del taarab.

This is a review of the dinner, as we stayed at a different lodge. Dinner is a served on the gorgeous rooftop patio. It is a fixed price meal - fun cocktails, delicious assortment of curries served family style, finished with exquisite trio sample of desserts served individually. Local band and singer entertained throughout the meal. Service was so friendly. All inspired by New York transplant, Emerson Skeens, who fell in love with Zanzibar in 1989, and stayed and invested in preserving some of the buildings.

Superb accommodation in Zanzibar. In the heart of Stone Town is a beautifully restored hotel that once was the home of one of the richest men in the Swahili Empire – Mr Tharia Topan, who served as the principal financial advisor to Sultan Bargash. Today it is still one of the most popular hotels in Zanzibar.

Did not overnight this is a review of the rooftop dinner. Absolutely loved the experience. The service was fantastic, the location was wonderful. From entering the lobby to a warm welcome, to being able to wander up 4 flights of hand built stairs and explore a bit. The menu was excellent, and the final price after the copious wine beer and cocktails seemed more than fair. Can't recommend this experience more!
