Ubicado en una casa del siglo XVIII perteneciente al palacio del sultán, tiene el encanto de la arquitectura árabe-suahili. El hotel, antes en manos extranjeras, es ahora propiedad de dos mujeres locales, Salma de Zanzíbar y Béatrice de Tanzania continental, y el equipo es 100% local. Las 12 habitaciones son encantadoras, con ventilación o aire acondicionado y amuebladas con gusto. Desayuno en la azotea del hotel.

The staff is simply the nicest. They helped us with our requests and went above and beyond to help us and make our journey easy. I'm very impressed on how much nice and warm the staff is.
The hotel is modest but okay, the price for value is good and the location is central, you can reach all the tourist locations in Stone Town very easily by walk.
The hotel is not accessible by car, but the taxi can stop just by the corner and the drivers/staff will help you with the luggage.
