Esta antigua mansión swahili ofrece habitaciones con baño a precio medio. Sus puntos fuertes: una terraza en la azotea que domina la ciudad con una vista de 360°, habitaciones climatizadas y ventiladas con camas antiguas de Zanzíbar, impecablemente limpias. My wife and I came for dinner and drinks on the rooftop restaurant.
The food was expensive and middling, the cocktails were good.
At the end of the meal we opted to pay in USD and were charged at 2200shillings/USD rather than the going rate of 2500, which left me astonished.
It's not clear whether the server thought we wouldn't notice, but the result is that we tipped nothing and wound up paying about what we expected to. Instead of leaving pleased, we had a foul taste in our mouth at the attempt to rip us off.
