Hotel situado en la calle principal de Bagamoyo, con habitaciones que tienen un delicioso aire oriental.
Es el hotel más céntrico, pue está situado en la calle principal que bordea el mar. El edificio y las habitaciones tienen un delicioso aire oriental con contraventanas y puertas de madera esculpida, herencia de los residentes árabes que durante mucho tiempo ocuparon la zona. La ropa de cama es correcta, pero la ducha es muy simple, con tan solo la salida de agua. El futbolín, las hamacas y los cojines alrededor de la piscina dan al Firefly un aire de albergue juvenil. Terreno de camping protegido detrás. La playa está a cien metros.

Best in hotel in the surrounding of Dar Es Salaam. Very lovely made ambience. Between the plants are so many nice places to rest and feel comfortable. It’s never getting that hot because of all these trees and plants. The stuff is courteous and all the time nice.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere, the decor, the rooms, the staff. If you want to experience luxury but at the same time that rugged African feel, this is your place. I always come here to ground myself and just unwind completely. Thanks again for the most memorable stay!

Het eten en drinken is goed. Personeel mag iets attenter zijn of vragen of je activiteiten wil doen; miste persoonlijke aandacht. Prima zwembad. Ik ben hier leuke reizigers tegen gekomen, niet de standaard toerist, wat ik juist leuk vind. 2 fijne eettentjes op loopafstand. Er wordt Westerse muziek gedraaid, vind ik persoonlijk jammer, het mag van mij best Swahili muziek zijn. Ga ook naar de college of arts, zo zie je een andere kant van Bagamoyo. Aan de overkant van de straat wordt de lodge uitgebreid met extra kamers en een zwembad.
