El Praslin Beach, construido en dos niveles y en semicírculo alrededor de su piscina redonda, en un jardín vecino de la playa de Côte d'Or, estaba muy bien situado en sus inicios, pero las cosas han cambiado mucho. A falta de mantenimiento suficiente, ahora es un hotel desclasificado de la cadena Berjaya. Las habitaciones están equipadas con aire acondicionado, TV, hervidor de agua y minibar. Algunas están renovadas, otros no y el precio es el mismo: ¡no te aconsejarás pedir una habitación renovada! De los habitaciones, clasificadas en tres categorías, con terraza o balcón, son las superiores las que ofrecen la mejor relación calidad-precio.
Muy frecuentado por una clientela popular, que aprecian los bufés y la animación, este gran portador de la hostelería tiene como ventaja proponer una tarifa correcta en plena zona turística, a dos pasos de la playa más larga de la isla.
