Wonderful place. The view is beautiful, the owners are so nice and helpful, breakfast is great. Highly recommend.

Zu Gast bei Freunden in anregend, kreativer Umgebung. Sensationelles Frühstück mit Liebe gemacht und mit Leidenschaft serviert. Gigantische Aussicht. Suchtpotential :)

Superfriendly owners, had the most heartly welcome. Breakfast was delicious, not only in presentation but also in taste! Refreshing vegetarian dish. The premise is beautiful and the rooms very cosy. We even got a breakfast to go when we couldn’t make it because of the mount pico hike. I would give more stars but 5 is max ;).

Ganz tolle, herzliche und engagierte Gastgeber (Claudia und Johannes stammen aus Bayern/D., ihre junge Mitarbeiterin Sophie aus den Niederlanden), die auch viele gute Infos und Tipps für Aktivitäten geben - sensationelles, vielseitiges, abwechslungsreiches und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitetes Frühstück - große, einfach und zweckmäßig gehaltene Zimmer - Pflanzen- und Naturpracht im gesamten Gelände sowie wunderschöner Ausblick vom Frühstücksraum zum Meer und zur Nachbarinsel Faial.

Joe’s Place kann man wirklich nur jedem empfehlen! Claudia, Johannes und Sophie machen alles zum Genuss! Die individuell stilvoll einfach eingerichteten Zimmer sind zum Verlieben! Das Frühstück im Wintergarten mit toller Aussicht ist super lecker und variiert jeden Tag! Vor allem wird es von regionalen bzw selbstgemachte Produkten liebevoll zubereitet ! Einfach ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Energie tanken ! Danke ❣️

Das Zimmer liebevoll gestaltet. Gutes Frühstück was Abwechslungvoll war. Sophie kümmert sich sehr gut um die Gäste. Ein Kühlschrank mit einem kühlen Bier stand immer Bereit. Auch ein Handtuch zum Ausleihen für den Strand war kein Problem. Auch mit Rat und Tat war Sophie immer zur Stelle. Unbedingt Empfehlenswert wenn man nicht Anonym in ein Hotel absteigen möchtest.

The place to be. Un paraíso. Es un alojamiento genial, todo está super bien cuidado. El jardín es muy grande y las vistas desde las habitaciónes son expectáculares. El desayuno también está muy bien. Los dueños y el personal muy atento, te ayudan con todo lo que necesites. A pocos minutos a pie de Madalena donde hay multiples restaurantes para cenar. No lo dudes más,.

Nous avons passé 5 nuits superbes chez Joe's Place cet été. Le cadre, la propreté, la décoration, les espaces communs, les services : tout était exceptionnel !! Les petits déjeuners sont géniaux, copieux, variés et délicieux !! Un super souvenir, merci

Excellent séjour passé dans cette auberge chaleureuse. Le petit déjeuner est une merveille avec une vue magnifique. Je garderai un très bon souvenir de ce petit coin de paradis !

We stayed at Joe's Place for a few nights and it was hands down the best place we stayed at over our journey. The room was really great with an amazing view of Pico mountain, the nice vegan breakfast taken either on the terrace or the breakfast room is super good and the view is perfect for waking up. Claudia and Johannes are wonderful hosts and will do everything to make your time there an amazing one. Special thanks to Sophie as well who worked there when we stayed. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again if we could !

Mon séjour était en juin 2013, voyage en solo. J'ai eu un très bon accueil en français par ce couple Belge. La chambre était propre et le lit confortable, les hôtes intéressants à bavarder, ils m'ont même transporté jusqu'au refuge de départ du volcan Pico. Centre du village accessible à pieds. Belle expérience, belle rencontre.
Muy buena dirección. Los nuevos propietarios (belgas) Arrope y su esposa sabrán le mimen como siena familia. Hablan muy bien francés, inglés, flamenco y alemán.Te dará mucha información (más que la oficina de turismo - nuevo en la isla).Lo recomiendo bienvenida.
Justo profesados al volver de un precioso viaje, (2 personas) colocamos el joe's colocamos donde los nuevos propietarios no parecen perderse a la reputación del lugar.Nos ha acogido de hecho como es debido es en una pareja encantador que encontrará la hospitalidad color local combinado con la bien conocida del país de origen de sus huéspedes, recientemente exiliado de Bélgica y con un gran amor y respeto de su entorno.Tanto dirección muy recomendada.
