Hotel situado en la capital española que ofrece fiestas de paella, pub crawls y otras fiestas nocturnas
Ven y deja tus maletas en Cat's Hostel sólo si estás en la capital de España para celebrar las 24 horas del día! Los aficionados a la calma deben abstenerse absolutamente. Aquí venimos a hacer paellas, a pasear por los pubs y a otras fiestas nocturnas que ofrece el establecimiento. Y todo esto entre jóvenes de 18 a 25 años. Hay un bar en la planta baja, pero no hay zona de cocina. Entre Lavapiés y Sol, no faltan lugares para hacer fiestas en los alrededores del albergue.... En resumen, lo habrás entendido, ¡descansarás más tarde!

An overpriced and minimal hostel. I have been to 50+ Hostels and Cats is overall just average. With that said, the bar is a nice touch and makes it social so I give them that. More below, but it won't be a bad experience for most. But there are better options and it caters to a younger crowd, 18 - 23 from my experience
Pros:
The bar - good bar with cheap drinks, but they Jack up prices later to make money off you
Location - nice spot
Cons:
Staff - mediocre and most were not friendly. I emailed about a lost item since I could pick it up and never heard back...even threw weeks later
Dirty: the male bathroom was a war zone. I have booked Hostels that are supposed to be barebones and dirty because they were cheap. This was dirty and not cheap. Talking wet clothes on the floor and scattered items
Money making vibe: it feels like they are just trying to make as much money off you as possible. Laundry was 10 euro, drinks got pretty expensive after happy hours, pub crawl was 20 euro. So no homey feeling or the connotation they really care
With all said, you won't have a bad time. I possibly would go back just for the social aspect. But there are probably better options

Los reviews dicen que hay buen ambiente.. yo cuando fui el hostel estaba super muerto, la gente ni te saluda en las habitaciones.. Había grupos escolares gigantes de niños menores de edad… cero ambiente (al menos cuando fui yo)

Bir gece 12 kişilik odada kaldım. Yatak rahattı ancak koku rahatsız ediciydi. Personel çok ilgili ortam güzel gençler için tam bir parti mekanı ama benim tarzım değil yinede teşekkürler

The room and bed were a bit small for 10 people with no curtains nor windows. You will be given one card that gives you access to the building, the room, and the locker. So no need for a lock, and the locker is big enough to fit a large luggage. Towel rental for 5€. Every night they do a pub crawl with other hostels, during weekends around 50 people join, so if you are seeking a good nightlife this hostel would be it.
