Two days prior the check-in date I received an email requesting me to call the hotel and tell them my credit card (otherwise my booking may be cancelled). This is weird and very inconvenient.

The tap in my room was broken and there were ants. Livable but not up to the price.

Kleines aber sauberes Zimmer . Einrichtung etwas veraltet.. Badezimmer OK. Preis -Leistung jedoch ungenügend!! Leider zur Lage zum Park nicht viele Alternativen.

Had a nice stay and would recommend it for the price. Good location not too far from Mammoth, although there’s basically nothing to do in the town. Would definitely stay again.

Solides Motel, sauber und Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer. Leider die Preise vor Ort bei spontaner Anreise deutlich teurer als über booking, daher einen Stern Abzug bei Service und im Gesamt (es waren vielleicht eine Hand voll Gäste im ganzen Motel, daher keinen Grund für spontane Preissprünge).

Injured due to poor maintenance. Spent the afternoon at Mono Lake and stayed here afterwards and left the next morning. Nice and clean with a great little store next door. There were 3 thermostats in the room but none helped to turn off the heat. Some road noise from the 395. Unfortunately, I ripped the bottom of my foot open on a protruding nail in the floor. The wound is about 1/2 inch in diameter. Contacted the Lodge and they told me they have fixed the floor. It's their 90th anniversary so be forwarned.

Velmi příjemné ubytování, výhled tedy žádný, ale čisto, vše co je potřeba bylo k dispozici, okolo pokojů je krasný park a kavárna do které jako hosté dostanete slevu. Ta byla velmi příjemná a útulná s vynikající snídaní ❤️ příroda v okolí je úchvatná a Tioga pass jen pár minut odsud. Vřele doporučuji ☺️

Quick trip to Lee vining had a great view out back of mono lake from this room. The hotel is a little outdated but I wasn't looking for a five star just a bed.

Staying at this hotel was like stepping back in time to the Wild West during the California Gold Rush. The musky smell in the room could easily have been mistaken for the scent of a saloon that had seen one too many bar brawls. And those old, worn sheets? They might as well have been part of a prospector's bedding in the 1850s, with stories to tell of gold nuggets and ghostly apparitions.

If you're seeking an authentic Gold Rush experience with all the ambiance of a bygone era, this hotel might just be your ticket to the past. However, if you're more inclined to enjoy modern comforts and clean linens, you might want to mosey on down to a different establishment.

My friend and I stayed here in October as freshman undergrad physics students to go backpacking at Yosemite and it was great! We even saw the eclipse - especially cool as Astro enthusiasts :D The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable with freshly laundered sheets and access to wifi. The woman at the front desk was extremely nice as well, notifying us about when her shift ends so we’d know her availability incase we needed to speak to somebody. Overall had a great experience, thank you Lake View Lodge!

Hôtel situé au bord de la route à l’entrée de Lee Vining et constitué de quelques cabanas joliment dénommées Cozy Cottages (nous avions le 8C) mais d’où, contrairement au nom de l’hôtel, on n’a aucune vue sur le lac... Le cottage est miniature (on ne sait pas où poser ses bagages !). style chalet de montagne avec un petit coin cuisine et une salle de bain riquiqui (à noter : une mauvaise literie). A l’extérieur, terrasse avec BBQ. L’environnement n’est pas terrible (vue sur l’arrière d’un supermarché + bruit à cause des camions de livraison...). Pas de petit-déjeuner sur place. Accueil nul. Relativement cher pour la prestation (184 USD). Vraiment pour dépanner une nuit...
