El Yotel, ubicado en un hotel histórico que sobrevivió al terremoto de 1906, dispone de habitaciones económicas muy pequeñas con un diseño ultramoderno, luces cambiantes, enchufes por todas partes, una pantalla gigante a la que puedes conectar tu teléfono... Por otro lado, los aseos son abiertos, lo que puede resultar rápidamente sofocante, y los precios son, en definitiva, muy elevados para el espacio de las habitaciones y, sobre todo, para el barrio, entre el Tenderloin y el Civic Center, frecuentado por yonquis.

It's hard to recommend this place. The rooms are really nice, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are solid. The location, however, is beyond awful - just a snapshot of SF at its worst. Book anywhere in and around Union Square and you'll be happier.

You like taking a poop in front of all your friends? Well then... You'll love this hotel because the toilet is in the middle of the room! Other than that, the bed is comfy. It's also a really rough part of SF so wouldn't recommend staying here. Also, TV doesn't actually connect to the internet so casting doesn't work ????‍♀️

The hotel is very nice, there are a lot of places to explore, good location, but outside the hotel and nearby, there are a lot of homeless people, but I don't blame the hotel manager, but, it should be a very nice hotel to stay, very comfortable, and a good price.

The fees make it more expensive than other places, you're better off going to a better hotel with more amenities and bigger rooms. Online it was advertised as 72 but 115 after daily resort fees. Other nicer places in the area are 110 with no fees.
No bar or restaurant or shop to get drinks/snacks. Not the safest location, no garage, closest one is a few blocks over and not the best walk at night. The free breakfast is just cereal, croissants, yogurt and coffee from a machine. Staff seems very bothered by their work, didn't really like asking anyone for help. Rooms are tiny, but you know that when booking. They do have phone booths, a good gym and bikes to borrow in the hotel.
