Hotel histórico situado en las afueras del centro de la ciudad con una bonita piscina con terraza florida
Este hotel histórico, que existe desde 1862, está situado en las afueras del centro de la ciudad en el Parque Capuchino Latomia, cerca de la zona arqueológica. Es una hermosa residencia noble. Aquí bajaron cabezas coronadas y estrellas (Churchill, la familia de Saboya, d'Annunzio...). Decoración refinada y lujosa para los salones y el restaurante, elegancia clásica para las 100 habitaciones (aire acondicionado, televisión, minibar, teléfono). Una piscina muy hermosa con una terraza florida para relajarse. Aparcamiento. Excelente recepción.

Ottimo hotel fuori dal centro di Ortigia belle camere e ottima colazione , per andare in centro da considerare la.diatanza che a piedi non è vicinissimo

Mehr Schein als Sein. Aktuell der Pool eine Baustelle, die Hotelbar um 20:30 an einem Samstagsabend geschlossen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, der Stil des Hauses unvergleichbar, dafür ringhörig und die Infrastruktur etwas verbraucht. Ich tendiere zwischen 3-4 Sterne, aber nochmals würde ich das Hotel nicht buchen (einige indivuduelle Ereignisse hier nicht aufgeführt), somit nur 3 Sterne.

Everything is perfect, except: the restaurant's dinner portion is so small that we had to go and eat pizza for the children afterwards. We are sorry that there was a full house on the night of April 8-9 (Sunday), because we wanted to stay one more day.

The breakfast was close to terrible, cold scrambled eggs, very little choice of everything and broken coffee machines.
The room was ok and had something to remember the good old times, but desperately needs refurbishment.
The hotel bar was open and we had a glass of drink on the terrace.
Services were good. Wifi was ok. Free parking.
Unbelievable, near the hotel is kind of open cave(10 meters deep) which shows a bit of arrangement like a show hall, but it is not lit at night and the entire possible spectacular view is lost.????
Far from being a Grand Hotel!!!!
