My family visited in March of 2023, and my wife and I returned later that fall. So close to everything, Madison Square Park, Broadway, restaurants, cafes and so much more!

Heated bathroom floor! So happy I discovered this gem. Great location, next door to the museum of sex, walking distance to all the sites and surrounded by restaurants and shops. We loved our stay, loved the room, hotel style, the bar and of course the staff. Everything was great and I am happy I found my new go to spot in midtown.

Klein, aber für New Yorker Verhältnisse in Ordnung. Zimmer etwas hellhörig. Jeden Tag Zimmerservice.

Gut gelegen in der Nähe vom Flatiron Building. Alle Öffis in der Nähe.

Zum Frühstück eine Auswahl aus 4-5 Speisen wie Porridge, Sandwich, Joghurt.

Stayed at the Evelyn for a local bachelorette and it was perfect! We needed two separate rooms but the team was able to accommodate us so we would be on the same floor. The staff was extremely helpful during our stay from bringing scissors to our room to setting up the pull out bed.

Prior to our stay, I had worked closely with Amal to have the room set up with balloons and champagne for our bride and they delivered.

Location was everything we needed for karaoke in KTown to brunch in Hell's Kitchen. Unexpected surprise was the delicious free breakfast at the cafe downstairs.

Definitely recommend!

Très bien situé, les chambres sont correctes. (Gros) Point négatif : le petit déjeuné n'est pas à la hauteur pour le prix. L'emplacement est quand même sympa encore une fois.

J’ai réservé via hôtel tonight. Les photos ne correspondent pas du tout à la chambre qui nous a été donnée. Chambre minuscule. On a eu froid toute la nuit car le lit est sous la fenêtre qui n’est pas isolée. Vue sur la climatisation extérieure.
Le petit dejeuner inclus correspond à une boisson à emporté + collation au choix, vraiment pas digne d’un bel hôtel.
L’emplacement est vraiment top.
Le hall de l’hôtel est joli.
Heureusement, nous nous sommes plaint de la chambre à la réception et nous avons été remboursés par hotel tonight.

This hotel is a great value and family friendly. They offer complimentary breakfast in the morning which has a great selection of items. There is a nice nook area above the cafe where you can eat, study or do some work. Madison Square Park is right outside with a nice playground for kids and has a nice view of the flatiron building and a clock tower. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and the staff brought her birthday balloons and some snacks. This was our second time going to The Evelyn and it was a fantastic experience.

Whoever answered the phone this morning was totally useless, not very accommodating and downright rude. Hung up on me.

Option to respond to your reply, I’ll do so here by editing my review.
I don’t know how or when you checked your records, but I certainly did call. I wasn’t a guest of the hotel, if that’s what you checked. Nevertheless I have no reason to lie. If that’s the implication.

The Evelyn is a wonderfully cosy hotel within walking distance or a 5-10 minute ride from all the best venues south of Central Park. The interior is decorated in art deco style, warm and dark shades of brown and red. The rooms are clean and comfortable but the wifi could be better. They have some wicked playlists covering new wave, 90s alternative music, 70s funk, but also more contemporary rock, shoegaze and pop music. The night bar is fab, with jazzy tunes, a trendy crowd shows and they serve a very solid Manhattan cocktail. All in all, I warmly recommend the place.

We really loved our stay at The Evelyn! All of the staff that we encountered were so helpful and top notch! Our room had everything that we needed, and the heated tile floor was such a nice touch during our chilly-weather visit! It was also very nice that we could open the windows in the bathroom so it didn't stay steamy after showers (my biggest pet peeve when some restrooms aren't ventilated!). The decor in the hotel is really inviting and stylish and we really enjoyed the wine hour in the lobby! We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
