Echt een gezellige plek om te verblijven. Het zwembad met de poolbar zijn echt geweldig, en ook nog eens lekker eten en uitgebreid assortiment aan drankjes.
Jammer dat mensen klagen over lawaai van de snelweg, dit valt erg mee. Douches zijn ook gewoon goed en warm. De staan plekken kunnen wellicht wat vlakker maar dat is een van de weinige opmerkingen.

The campsite it's ok for a night very pricey 35€ but we arrived after 5pm and the water in the shower was cold solar powered I guess.
The washing up area has only cold water so if you have any greasy pans it's a struggle specially if it's cold outside
The site has washing machine and tumble dryer for euros just put coins in.
The site has a lovely bar and heated swimming pool but was raining all day and all night so couldn't use.
WiFi not working if you are a bit down the bar area
Also pitches are not very distinguished in between and lots of fine gravel on the ground which stick to the shoes.Loats of big olive trees which have branches hanging down
Toilet area and shower was clean

Stayed here with 4 other friends during a road trip through the south of Spain and it was fantastic! 2 mins from the beach and 5 mins from Nerja. Toilets had just been done up and were fab, the pool and surrounding area was gorgeous. Food was fab and the staff so lovely. Thank you to fellow Scot Nolan and the rest of the staff!

Leuke en gezellige camping met gezellig personeel. Nette toiletten en douches.

Sehr nettes Personal, Pool und Bar mit Blick auf Meer, nette Kleinigkeiten zu essen, einfach gehaltene Stellplätze, überwiegend mit Meerblick, Sehenswürdigkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe, Zentrum Nerja ca. 6 km entfernt. Toiletten und Duschen vorhanden, jedoch nicht von uns genutzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A bar jól néz ki. Sátorral nagyon hangos az autópálya és a főút között. De igazából semmit nem kapsz a nagyon sok pénzért. 25 eur egy kis sator hely. A realitás ennek a fele lenne.

Lovely little site on the outskirts of Nerja. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We’ve had a lovely week there and will definitely return!!

Leaving villa del mar after a wonderful months stay in our caravan the site is close to maro and 4k from nerja the pitches vary in size and are mostly level the owners and staff are superb and cannot do enough to help . The pool and bar area is a big plus with excellent food and a good variety of drinks at prices not to different from the town. the pitch prices vary with size and length of stay. the showers have plenty of hot water and are cleaned daily. ok there is no hot water to the sinks but not an issue as we wash up in the van. this is being rectified in the near future as they have not had the site Very long I can't believe reading some of the negative reviews that they stayed at the same site. there is live entertainment every Sunday afternoon .
when we return to this area we will definitely stay here again thanks to all for making us feel so welcome

Firstly I’m going to say that this review is my opinion of Camping Villa del Mar it’s going to be open and honest and I hope anyone who chooses to stay here is happy with the site.
We stayed at Villa del Mar because we couldn’t get into the only other site available in Nerja and to be honest we were a little concerned after reading previous reviews. The site is good.and will improve as the new owners have several plans to update it. .
Yes it’s located between two roads and yes there is some road noise but it really does depend on which pitch is allocated to you. Ideally you should ask for a pitch on the right side as you drive in. Having said that the road noise isn’t that bad.
Pitches are quite random in size and we would suggest checking out a few different ones before you commit to one in particular. Toilets and Showers are centrally located on the site and generally are clean but could do with a deep clean once in a while. At the moment there is only cold water for washing pots but I understand plans are in place to improve this to include hot water.
The bar and pool area are nice with lots of space and a good range of drinks and food in fact exceptionally good for a camp site.
Staff are friendly and helpful too.
What would be nice for future visitors is some detailed information about how to get to the village of Maro and Nerja safely using footpaths and cycle lanes as well a handy hints on the best places to visit.

I would give this site a zero as its probably the worst campsite I have been on but I have to praise the young male bar worker as he was brilliant, my hubby left his wallet at the bar and he kept it safe for us until we collected it. Thankyou. x However, this in my opinion is not a campsite, it is a pool bar with camping and should be the other way around. The owners have invested in the pool and bar area which is beautiful but sadly that is where the positives end. The pitches are very small and very very uneven, it was very difficult for our 7.4m motorhome to park. The sanitation is dirty, old and basic to say the least. There is no hot water to wash up with, although the showers did have hot water. The WIFI, which is advertised as free is non existent even when sat at the pool bar. The owner just shrugs when questioned. We ate at the pool bar restaurant and the food is very basic and all deep fried (our croquettes were cold in the middle). The site is situated under the AP7 and the noise is relentless day and night. 40 Euro a night for this is vastly overpriced, especially out of season. We stayed February and although the weather was pleasant it was too cold to use the pool, making us feel we had been drastically over charged.

Ein wirklich schöner kleiner Campingplatz. Zufahrt ist sehr steil, aber wir sind auch mit unserem 6,5 m gut reingekommen. Super ruhig und es gibt gutes Essen mit leckerem Bier!

Erg rommeling. Ligt tussen de snelweg en N weg daardoor veel lawaai. Camping is met €35 per nacht te duur. En ook €3 voor een smakeloos bier zonder koolzuur is te duur.

Veel te duur voor wat ze aanbieden.
Sanitair niet schoon en nergens warm water.
Het kan heel mooi worden maar nu nog niet, prijs is veel te duur

Leuke plek met een mooie bar maar de camping is niet veel, geen warm water voor de afwas en het sanitair is niet schoon. Ik denk wel dat het beter gaat worden maar voor nu veel te duur

Je sais que cet endroit a été repris et qu'il y a des choses à remettre en place, très belle piscine, belle terrasse pour y boire un verre ou manger, personnel bien aimable, par contre les emplacements sont a aménagés, les bornes électriques à revoir et les séparations avec des dénivelés , sinon bien

Leider muss ich mich anschließen. Die Sanitäranlagen und Stellplätze haben nicht das Niveau, was ein Preis von 40,-€ gerechtfertigt. Auch kein WIFI an den Plätzen. Das erwartet man bei diesem hohen Preis!!!! Infrastruktur null!
Nie wieder! Bisher habe ich auch keine Antwort vom Betreiber auf meine Anfrage. Schade! Absolute Abzocke!
