TRAUMHAFT ………

Vraiment l'hôtel à recommander sur l'île. La plage est magnifique. Le personnel est tellement gentil qu'on aurait envie de mettre 6 étoiles au lieu de 5. Il se met en 4 pour vous. Les repas étaient très bien et très variés. Il y a plein d'activités inclues comme par exemple le ski nautique. La demi pension suffit largement. Ln mangeait le matin et plus rien jusqu'au soir. Le seul point faible : la plupart des choses à voir sont dans le sud de l'île et l'hôtel est au nord. Il faut donc prévoir un véhicule de location et on roule à gauche. On a fait près de 1000km sur l'île en deux semaines pour voir le maximum de choses..
Vraiment l'hôtel au top.....

Életem legszebb és legjobb nyaralása volt. Beutaztam már a világot, de ez a szálloda lenyűgözött. Gyönyörű strand, különleges ételek, hihetetlenül barátságos személyzet. Az épületben káprázatos bútorok, fafaragások, tágas nagy terek, kényelmes ágy, tisztaság. Mindenképpen visszatérek!

Ein sehr enttäuschendes Hotel!
Das Drama nahm schon mit der Ankunft seinen Lauf, als die total nervige Ashi in einem Monolog alle ihr wichtigen Regeln erklärte! Das Zimmer war erst ab 14:00 Uhr fertig und so entließ uns diese „wichtige“ Dame um 10:00 mit dem Hinweis, wir dürften jetzt alles nutzen. Keine persönliche Führung, keine Einladung zum Frühstück, nichts!!
Wir irrten herum und waren geschockt vom ungepflegten und unsauberen Aussenbereich. Das Mittagsbuffet, sowie auch die folgenden Abendbuffets waren sehr einfach, mit billigen Zutaten und von überschaubarer Auswahl. Das Hauptrestaurant hat den Charme eines Bahnhofes. Das hochgelobte Plantation Restaurant schwankte in seinen (teuren) a la carte Gerichten und auch im Service von sehr gut bis nicht genießbar!
Einzig einige der Mitarbeiter und die Zimmerqualität (bei miserabler Lage) waren während unseres 4 tägigem Aufenthalt einigermaßen gut!
Als eine große Frechheit empfanden wir das automatische Abbuchen von 5% Trinkgeld, welches mit einer Auflage des Managements erklärt wurde. Dieses st wohl noch das kleinste Managementproblem!
Wir kommen sicher nicht wieder in dieses Hotel und sind froh das wir hier nur 4 Tage aushalten mussten. Noch in keinem Hotel sind uns soviele Beschwerden von Gästen an der Rezeption, im Plantation und in Gesprächen von anderen Gästen aufgefallen. Mir ist schleierhaft, wir das Hotel zu den vielen guten Rezessionen kommt.
Ach ja, die erwähnten Bauarbeiten finden wirklich statt! Der Hotelstrand ähnelt in großen Teilen einer Mondlandschaft!

Extrêmement déçue de cet hôtel. Hôtel vieillot, avec mauvaise odeur dans la chambre, et le pire c’est des bêtes (insectes) qui attaquent la nuit - punaises de lit ou autre, difficile de dire. Des dizaines de nouvelle piqûres chaque matin sur le corps…l’horreur. L’hôtel m’a proposé juste de changer la chambre, ils n’ont fait aucun geste commercial. A voir si dans la nouvelle chambre c’est pareil…
Le sol au niveau de l’extérieur/piscine est sale.
Le buffet du midi…déçue aussi, il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix et ultra épicé, les frites j’ai eu l’impression qu’ils ont été cuites il y a une semaine.
J’ai des amis qui sont logés à l’hôtel juste à côté, le LUX Belle Mare, pour le même prix il y a une différence énorme.
Il ne mérite pas du tout les 5 étoiles affichées.
Point positif (d’où les 2 étoiles et pas 1): la gentillesse du personnel.
Voilà voilà…venez ici si vous voulez payer le prix d’un 5* mais avoir en réalité un 2-3*.

If you are looking for construction works with heavy noise on the beach, and you don’t value 5 star service, then this is the right place. If you want relaxation don’t come here. Ruined our family vacation. only positive: the Plantation Restaurant with their staff.

I visited this hotel during my first trip to Mauritius and it was my very first holiday as a family (with a 7 month old baby).

The staff are excellent and have a lot of CLEAN & GOOD QUALITY high chairs available for meal times.

Lots of pools available and most are baby friendly

Private beach is arguably best in the area

They have a big spa area which is great!

Staff (and other Mauritians) love babies and some asked to hold baby (which I don't mind at all) but is worth considering if you don't feel comfortable.

Super Hotel, es war ein superschöner Urlaub. Für das Geld bekommt man ordentlich was geboten. Kann man definitiv weiter Empfehlen.

Super hôtel, le personnel est super sympa et attentif à tout ! Je recommande le spa avec les massages de Rati et Imra ! Des masseuses avec de l'or dans les mains !
L'hôtel est beau mais manque d'animation et loin de tous si vous voulez faire des excursions. La plage privée est très belle. Il y a bcp de vent ! Il fait presque froid si on est en maillot de bain

Excellent hotel! There was not a single part or service that we weren't completely satisfied with. Beautiful, clean, stylish complex, spacious, clean rooms, splendid food, diverse entertainment options. And the best part was the staff. Exceptionally courteous, friendly, and helpful, exceeding all expectations! We would gladly come back anytime...

One thing to be noted is that dress code is must for dinner.

Hôtel magnifique! Des chambres spacieuses et très bien entretenues . Un personnel agréable et serviable. Les repas sous forme de buffet sont délicieux et variés. La plage est sublime. L’hôtel propose des activités compris dans le prix de la chambre(ski nautique, planche à voile, canoë, tennis, salle de sport…). On a adoré. Le petit bémol 2-3 chiens errants mais ils ne sont pas méchants. Attention juste la période où vous partez. Nous étions début août durant l’hiver austral et dans l’Est le climat est un peu plus pluvieux. Mais si je dois retourner à l’île Maurice je reviendrais dans ce magnifique hôtel.:)

Le seul bémol c'est que nous avons rencontré un problème avec la chambre qui ne correspondait pas à un adulte et deux enfants! je me suis retrouvé à dormir en tant que maman dans un lit une place!
quelques jours de réclamation le personnel a enfin pris la décision de nous surclasser en une  magnifique suite où chacun a pu trouver sa place, je recommande cet hôtel pour son emplacement incroyable et son personnel aux petits soins! vous êtes sûr de ne jamais manquer de rien.
Je vous déconseille de partir avec l'agence de Last Minute un manque de communication et d'information! arriver sur place l'intervenante nous ne l'avons jamais rencontré! Effectivement je me suis sentie perdue sans aucune information...

Merci aux majordome mis a  notre disposition qui a tout fait pour que notre séjour se passe à merveille, ainsi qu'à la réception qui a trouvé des solutions et qui a bien rattrapé les erreurs de l'agence pour notre confort et notre bien-être. Merci. également au chef de cuisine qui est incroyablement gentil aux petits soins avec nous ainsi que l'équipe du kids club ❤
Cela reste un voyage incroyable! la suite était juste magnifique. Et la plage la plus incroyable que j'ai pu voir de ma vie ❤

المنتجع سيء للآسف بسبب : عدم وجود أنشطة ، النزلاء بالفندق 90٪ منهم كبار سن ، الشاطئ تبعه غير مهتمين فيه ، عدم وجود عمال نظافة باستمرار
لا انصح به ،، علماً بأنه يوجد منتجعات بنفس السعر ومستواهم عالي جداً

Un établissement magnifique avec des gens merveilleux !!! Il n'y avait rien à redire : chambres communiquantes spacieuses et superbes, restaurant délicieux, spa génial, club enfant parfait, cadre idyllique (piscines, jardins, plage, ...).
Et un personnel compétent et d'une gentillesse incroyable : merci à Vidya, Rooben, Karvish, Sanjay, Sophie, Jennita, Shreeya, Teesha, Neha, Louana, Rody, David et tous les autres !!!

We went at the end of July and we spent 15 wonderful days at the residence hotel, the hotel has a spectacular and luxurious classic design, its incredible restaurants and the spa, I won't even tell you, it's a dream, thanks to Vandana, her service is splendid and the Treatments and massages are impressive and the beauty salon, IMPRESSIVE, everything is always full, great prices, give yourself a massage if you go, you will thank me, you have a free Turkish bath and sauna. its beach is spectacular and large, to take long walks and connect with other beaches, there is a park near outside the hotel where we could see flying foxes in its trees, something that was incredible and there you will also find a restaurant to eat prawns and fried chicken between other things very well priced, we took half board and you either ate on the hotel beach or in the hotel restaurant, which is great, or in this small restaurant that is outside the premises, there is also a Hindu temple nearby. It has been the best trip of my life and in the best hotel that I have been the room and the bed were so great that I have no words, and the butler service was great. What can I say more than go to Mauritius, it is an incredible island!

Máxima puntuación para el hotel sin duda. Hemos estado una semana alojados y ha sido maravillosa. Empezando por su ubicación en una de las mejores playas de isla Mauricio, siguiendo por su decoración colonial con mucho gusto, su servicio impecable en todo momento, la comida, con un buffet variado cada día con una temática, barbacoa de marisco, hindú, italiano… música en directo cada noche, la playa con muchas actividades incluidas en el precio, un 10 de hotel de los que te da pena marcharte, lo recomendaría siempre!

Relaxing Stay at The Residence

In November 2022, we enjoyed a lovely stay at The Residence. The rooms were clean and cozy, the grounds well-maintained, and the beach offered a soothing escape. While the service staff weren't exceptionally friendly. A notable exception was the cuisine chef, who stood out for his exceptional warmth and friendliness. Thx for that.

One highlight of our visit was Dive Passion Mauritius, located right next to the hotel. We highly recommend it! In particular, the dive master Koala was incredibly kind and professional, making our diving experience truly memorable.

In short, The Residence is a wonderful spot for relaxation, with top-notch amenities and a remarkable diving experience nearby.

Es la primera vez que escribo una reseña.Tengo que decir el hotel tranquilo para ser un luciría el trato recibido en recepción espatetico, el momento de la llegada,tardan mucho en hacer el che Kiny cuando nos dieron la habitación no era la pedida con vistas al mar,,hay k estar pidiendo a los camareros de la habitaciones desde los artículos de aseo hasta lo k ofrecen en su web incluido en la habitación .La animación es mínima, y en recepción ….nunca en un hotel luxuri nos habían tratado con mala

Inolvidable!! Todo super limpio, la habitación suite con mayordomo y vistas muy bonitas. El trato fue muy bueno de todo el personal. Incluso al irme, me deje el monedero y me lo enviaron a España.
La comida muy bueno todo y muy variado.

We stayed at the Four Seasons but our son completed his diving course at the dive school at the Residence. At 13 years old, we weren’t going to send him alone. On day 1, we bought breakfast at the Residence with our other 2 children while we waited for the oldest to complete his dive. On day 2, my husband, who was waiting for our son on the beach by the dive school, was approached by 2 security staff and a hotel staff member and demanded to pay 4000 Mauritian Rupees (approx £68) to wait on a sun lounger on an empty beach on a cloudy day, despite us having paid to use the dive school services. Sadly, we found the Residence to be harsh, unwelcoming and not somewhere we would recommend, despite the brilliant dive school team who could not be faulted.

Schon beim Betreten des Anwesens wurde ich von der atemberaubenden Schönheit der Hotelanlage und der warmen Begrüßung des Personals überwältigt. Die Architektur des Hotels vereint auf wunderbare Weise den kolonialen Stil mit einem Hauch von mauritischer Kultur und schafft so eine einzigartige Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen und Genießen einlädt.

Estive em 2009 na nossa lua de mel. Local incrível, beleza natural surpreendente e o hotel é excelente em tudo. Em 2019 resolvemos voltar para comemorar 10 anos de casado e o hotel permanecia exatamente como a primeira vez!!recomendo muito
