Un restaurante único y maravilloso. Entras en otra dimensión, el chef es magnifico, a partir de productos sencillos pero de calidad presenta unos platos soberbios.
En la cocina sólo trabaja el chef, y quien atiende las mesas es su mujer, por lo que únicamente aceptan muy pocos comensales, unos 8. Llegamos sin reserva y aunque en un principio la mujer nos dijo que no, tras ver nuestra cara de pena habló con el chef, quien desde la cocina nos miró y dijo que nos quedásemos.
No olvidaré nunca este restaurante, que más bien es como entrar en una casa particular, la exquisitez de la comida y lo surrealista del lugar te cautiva y te hace sentir genial! ❤️ ( es la primera vez que escribo una reseña pero el lugar lo merece)

Le resto préféré de mon chien-loup à Lyon. Katsumi est un véritable magicien aux fourneaux. Employant des produits de grande qualité, il transforme ceux-ci simplement et efficacement en faisant ressortir pleinement le goût et la texture des aliments.

C’est dommage….
Ce resto avait un très belle carte des vins.
Aujourd’hui la carte des vins est catastrophique.
Le chef exécute toujours très correctement les plats.
Par contre la propriétaire est clairement impolie et désagréable.
Et ce n’est pas la barrière de la langue….
Sans parler de la propreté et du rangement…
Remettez-vous en question !

Nous avons été extrêmement déçus par notre expérience... On dirait que ce restaurant est à l'abandon... La vaisselle est usée, on voit des toiles d'araignée au plafond, le vin servi au verre devait être ouvert depuis un moment. Je suis surprise des commentaires car en plus du fait que la serveuse soit très froide nous n'avons pas bien mangé non plus. Pour ma part je n'ai pas trouvé que les plats soient raffinés au contraire. Tout était assez grossier. Le saumon avait l'odeur du frigo, la sauce du porc était trop salé, les pommes de terres étaient réchauffées au micro-onde... En bref une mauvaise expérience qui plus ait très chère!! Je comprends mieux la salle de restaurant vide quand nous sommes arrivés.

what a revelation. we dined here last night and the memory will stay with us forever. it was not only delicious and delightful, but an emotional and singular experience. that the sophisticated, elegant and hyper seasonal dishes are prepared by one man is beyond my comprehension, especially after having dined at paul bocuse where there is a brigade of staff in the kitchen and dining room.

what can i say. it was a privilege to dine here and experience the artistry, poetry and magic that is mr. ishida. he and his family imbue the space with their spirit and beauty. we are grateful and humbled to have dined here.

Experiència única al cor de Lió, cuina excepcional i de qualitat. Total respecte a les intoleràncies adaptant el menú adequadament. Bon servei i molt bona relació qualitat preu. El menú de cap de setmana massa complert, vam patir perquè les postres eren boníssimes però no ens les vam poder acabar. Segur que si tornem a Lio repetirem!

Brutal experiencia!! No os quedareis sin hambre y disfrutareis como no hacía tiempo!

Cuisine extraordinaire ,créative tant dans la confection que dans la présentation.Un régal..un bémol carte des vins Hors de prix ,pas de bouteille à moins de 56€ pour une selection modeste,dommage....

Expérience exceptionnelle, c'est un véritable voyage au pays des saveurs dans un lieu atypique, bravo...j'ai hâte d'y revenir lors de mon prochain voyage à Lyon !

Absolutely brilliant. A true hidden gem. The flavors of each dish are so well balanced and precise. Each dish is a taste journey on its own. The portions are much bigger than you would get for a typical tasting menu. Can’t recommend it enough.

Certainement très bon mais:
- ont oublié ma réservation pourtant confirmée par téléphone
- ne reconnaissent même pas leur erreur, quitte à laisser penser que je raconte des salades
- et le comble, ne s’adaptent même pas pour trouver une solution / jamais vu des restaurateurs faire aussi peu d’efforts.

C'est le véritable voyage dans un pays imaginaire travers chaque plat. Excellent au goût avec beaucoup d'inventivité !!!!! Bravo ????????????

Stabilité de la prestation.
25 euros au déjeuner pour entrée plat et dessert.
Le chef utilise des produits de haute qualité.
Lieu atypique différent des standards lyonnais mais quel magnifique expérience gustative.
Longue vie à cette excellente table.

To be transparent I must state that we never did get to eat here. But I wanted to share our experience that we had with this restaurant.
We were in Lyon France for 2 days prior to boarding a river cruise and walked by this restaurant and noticed all the Michelin notifications on their door. We had arrived on Sunday and apparently most restaurants close quite early. This restaurant was no exception and was closed when we walked by.
So when we returned to our hotel we looked it up and saw all the great reviews. We definitely wanted to try this place.
So the next day I tried calling. No one answered the phone. I called at least 5 times throughout the day with no success. I even went on the website to try to book online and I could not find anywhere that I could do that. We also walked by to try to make a reservation in person but we arrived just passed 2 PM and they were closed after lunch. We peeked in the window and my husband could clearly see the owner/chef sitting at a table. So I tried to call again. He did not answer the phone. In fact he didn’t even move.
I tried calling another 3 times throughout the afternoon with no one answering. Finally we thought that perhaps they did not take reservations so we decided to go a bit earlier than their opening time of 8 PM. We arrived at 7:52 PM. All the lights were on. We could see the chef prepping through the kitchen area window. We also saw 2 women in there as well (staff possibly family as one woman was older and the other younger). I tried the door but it was still locked. The women inside looked up but then looked away. So we stood in the drizzling rain and waited.
Finally at 8pm I heard the schnick of a door unlocking. I waited. Nothing. So I again tried the door. This time it opened. Neither woman looked at me. The older woman finally asked me if I had reservations to which I said no she immediately cut me off and told me if I didn’t have reservations they had no room. I explained that I tried to call numerous times throughout the day and no one answered the phone. She told me I should’ve made a reservation online but it didn’t matter because they were booked. Throughout the entire conversation she was moving about the room and refused to make eye contact. She pretty much shoo'd me out of the restaurant.
I was in total shock and embarrassed. I have never been treated like that anywhere in the world. I don’t know whether my ethnicity played a part in her attitude but I will say I don’t care how many Michelin stars you have if your service and courtesy is extremely poor and lacking.
I would not recommend this restaurant. There are too many other restaurants in the Restaurant Capital of the world to put up with this type of poor attitude.

This is an amazing restaurant. Truly a hidden gem with a brilliant chef, lovely presentation and great food. The lunch menu offers a range of good selections both for those who do/don't eat meats. At dinner, let them know ahead of time what your dietary limitations are and they'll adapt the 5 course menu to your needs. It was so good we returned for a second meal during our 6 days in Lyon.

On était prévenu, on voulait le vivre, et nous n'avons pas été déçu !! Katsumi Ishida est bien un ovni vu l'endroit ou il réalise son Art.

Par contre, sur l'assiette, de la générosité, du talent et de la maîtrise. Impossible d'être déçu, vous ne serez qu'étonnamment surpris au pire.

Le rapport qualité / prix est excellent. Nous reviendrons, c'est certain !!
