1 - you can hear stuff like the plumbing, doors closing —> this keeps interrupting the experience
2 - you can’t control the volume of the music at the beginning and end of the session - it’s quite loud. I recommend doing it all without.
3 - the rooms that hold the pods are super dark, and the temperature in the room is quite different from the pods. When you get out it’s kind of brutal. The places I usually go to have temperature control throughout, for a reason.
4 - the water temperature of my shower was all the over the place: this is the last thing I want to deal with right after floating.
It’s an ok place to try out floating, but if you’re looking to feel completely disconnected sensory wise and get the full experience, this isn’t the place. It will all be ruined during the session by unwanted noises and/or as soon as you get out of the pod with no concern for experience continuity.
I saw there’s another place in town that actually has tanks instead of pods (less claustrophobic, you don’t hit edges etc…). I might give that place instead next time.
