Su hermosa fachada blanca domina el corazón histórico de la ciudad, en las inmediaciones de la oficina de turismo y nunca lejos de las laderas de Le Brévent. Una situación ideal cuando se viaja sin coche! El establecimiento parece formar parte de la larga historia de Chamonix. A pesar de la falta de ascensor en las plantas superiores, el Hotel Le Chamonix es agradable y la mayoría de las habitaciones se abren al macizo del Mont Blanc; las demás al macizo de las Agujas Rojas. Calurosamente revestidos, ofrecen un buen confort y están bien sujetos. Las familias apreciarán las habitaciones cuádruples para alojarse en el centro a un precio razonable. Nos gusta encontrarnos para desayunar en una habitación donde el fuego de leña chisporrotea. Cerca, una gran variedad de restaurantes y excursiones. También merece una visita, el autobús de enlace de la ciudad (gratuito para los residentes) a las otras zonas de esquí está a sólo 50 metros.

Un gros chien est dans l'entrée mais très doux et gentil (OTTO)
Je reste mitigé concernant cette expérience mais le petit déjeuner est très bien donc je mets 3/5

Prendre son linge de douche et ses produits de douche.
Negatives: the reason you stay in a hotel is to have somewhere to sleep and get a shower. I couldn’t sleep, because there was no curtain for the window and there was flashing lights outside from the winter market (like a big Christmas tree with lights in and many other electric lights of different kinds). It lit up our whole room. It is sloppy and lazy to not bother to put up a curtain.
I couldn’t shower for the same reason. There was a huge window in the bathroom, overlooking the square and the winter market outside. To be in the shower would’ve meant for everyone outside on the busy square seeing me naked. Even to go to the toilet would be something the people outside could see. At night we would have to go to the toilet in the dark so people wouldn’t see us from outside. Just put up a curtain goddamnit, it’s that simple.
In other words - our basic needs and expectations were not met. Fortunately we only stayed for one night, so we could leave the showering for the next hotel.
No fire alarms in the room either, despite the wooden walls.
