The location is in a really peaceful and idillic setting - the views are beautiful and the setting is so quiet. The lodging is exceptionally clean, and while some might think it ‘simple’, it is never plain. I think it is very sweet and honestly all one needs.
I saw elsewhere someone made a less than great comment about breakfast. They are so wrong! It’s breakfast in France at Le Charmagit, and it is served with care, big warm smiles and great service. Factors that are right at the top of my scoring considerations.
We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, but the food looked awesome.
And while it is not in the Centre of ‘town’ it is such an easy, pleasant walk to town, with close to zero traffic for most of it and not a single main road to have to cross. So don’t let that put you off!
