Pequeño restaurante nocturno en el centro histórico de Aviñón, comida deliciosa, acogida muy amable y entorno agradable.

Este pequeño restaurante está regentado por Antonia y Russell Coughlan, una pareja inglesa encantadora, discreta y atenta. Esta dirección confidencial atrae a una clientela fiel. Sólo abre por las noches. Nos encanta su cocina sencilla pero exquisita, como el magret de pato con una salsa que varía según la temporada, los langostinos asados con miel, el risotto al azafrán y la tarta de queso con naranja o arándanos. Los productos son frescos, los platos ordenados y deliciosos, y también hay una buena selección de vinos. El ambiente es cálido e íntimo.

One of the best restaurants in all of Provence. Many covers yet still a spacious interior and generous individual tables making for a comfortably private experience. Exceptional food prepared to the highest of standards. Superb chefs and an outstanding hostess, Madame Caughlan, who gracefully and seamlessly welcomes all guests whilst performing multiple roles of Maitre D’, hostess, waitress and sommeliere to perfection. Her craft truly is an art. We adored the braised fennel salad and lightly smoked salmon starters and later the outstanding duck breast (perfectly rendered whilst still served pink in the centre) and the freshest of fish of the day (today on our visit being seabream) which tasted sublime. All served with generous portions of vegetables and potatoes artfully sculpted into accompaniments of perfection. From the meat, fish and to the vegetables, each individual ingredient was treated with the utmost respect and attention culminating in an ecstatic experience of epicurean perfection. At no point did we feel rushed; despite being fully booked, no explicit table time was given and we were made to feel truly at home and able to enjoy our leisurely stay in total comfort. Extensive and fantastic wine/aperitif/digestif/liqueur list. Booking in advance recommended. An absolute must if visiting Avignon. We couldn’t recommend enough

Fantastic restaurant. Delicious food, charming and professional service, very pleasant ambience. The price of the menu was excellent value for such fine cuisine, and the choices were a perfect balance. Highly recommend, but reserve in advance as you may find it is fully booked if you just walk in.

The best dining experience we received on our month-long European honeymoon! The owners (husband & wife team) make you feel so special and welcome. I made the reservation a month before our visit and the owner welcomed me with open arms and congratulated my husband and I on our marriage. Her energy is unmatched. Her husband’s cooking… I don’t even know where to begin but it was the best meal we have ever had. I truly hope we will get to come back in the future! Thank you for an unforgettable evening!
