Cuando hace buen tiempo, la gran terraza se despliega y es muy rápida. Por la mañana se sirve el desayuno. Por la tarde, el Germinal se transforma en salón de té. Bebidas calientes o heladas, fruta acuática, bonita bodega de cerveza, bebidas espirituosas, pastelería del día. Un paréntesis que hace bien a la vista del jefe.

I cannot believe what has been written by Thomas and Fred below.
I can only assume they are cheapskates, given their comments.
I was there tonight. The owner, Tommy, could not have been more welcoming and generous. I had a couple of beers and a couple of pastis – there was an extra of each ‘on the house’, and complimentary chicken and sausage (and olives with mini toast) as nibbles.
Chloe, a neighbour, was there - she has her regular lunch at the bar and said the quality is remarkable for the price, 10€ cheaper for a plat du jour than in the old town
Maybe I was fortunate enough to engage with the owner – unlike the other posters. He is a big footie man, esp of Marseilles (poor misguided fellow!)

Découvert en allant à la laverie juste à côté, accueil sympa et chaleureux,

Scandaleux ! Accueil et service désagréable ! Ne veut pas servir d'eau du robinet en pleine canicule sous prétexte qu'il faut au moins payer 3 consommation pour pouvoir s'hydrater. J'ai commandé un café et les personnes qui m'accompagnaient voulais seulement boire de l'eau et la gérante/serveuse s'est énervé. Elle n'a ramène qu'un verre d'eau a partager entre 4 personnes.
Je ne recommande pas du tout cet établissement où les gérants se permettent d'engueuler les clients pour de l'eau.
