PLAGE BEAU RIVAGE

Nous étions une table de 11 pour prendre un cocktail et profiter du DJ le jeudi soir.
Très bon accueil de Mario très sympathique et très bon service même si 2 cocktails étaient mal dosés.
Par contre aucun DJ malgré les nombreuses annonces sur les réseaux. Un peu déçus.
On nous a dit qu il avait oublié de venir...
Mais le joli cadre et le confort ont compensé.

????‼️????was there today exactly at 2 PM, and this was by far the worst place I’ve experienced in the city. I stood in front of the reception for 20 minutes, literally making eye contact with one of the staff the entire time. He was busy chatting with two women, then went to get a towel for someone, then started using his phone — all while I was standing right in front of him, waiting.

At one point, I even raised both my hands and loudly said “Hello! Can you hear me?” — and he still ignored me. My husband finally lost patience and raised his voice, asking, “Excuse me, can you help us?” And the man rudely replied, “What? What do you want?” We asked for two sunbeds by the beach, and without even looking up from his phone, he just said, “No sunbeds available.”

That was it. No courtesy, no explanation — just rude behavior.

Anywhere else in the city, if a beach is full, they at least put up a sign saying it's full to avoid wasting your time. But this place completely disregards even the most basic respect for customers. Truly disappointing.

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at Beau Rivage Beach Club. It's not one of the beach clubs that usually gets reviewed when you watch youtube videos and try to decide where you want to go. So I didn't have much info to go on and thought it must not be as good. But we wound up liking it better than the others. All the beach clubs are pretty similar, but Beau Rivage has a chill staff that are super helpful and I'd say "nicer" and more attentive than some of the other clubs. Food is fine, it's beach club food, so you are not going to get the same quality as at specialized restaurants in town. But yes, you'll want to kick back for the day, swim, lounge and order food, and the price to quality ratio here is better than at say, Castel or Negresco. The beach itself we also preferred to the others because of its central location. I guess it depends on where you are staying of course. If you are staying at the Beau Rivage, it's a no-brainer to go there because you get discounts on rentals. We were at Beau Rivage for the first part of our trip and loved the service and discounts. When we returned at the end of our trip we stayed elsewhere and checked out different beach clubs. We all unanimously agreed we liked Beau Rivage the best. Also: Yes, you can reserve and pay with credit card if you are staying at Beau Rivage. If you are not staying at Beau Rivage you need to walk up and reserve your spot in person on the day you plan to stay. This is true of all other places too, you must walk up and reserve on day (Castel is the one place that does have an online booking system). Plan to get in line by 10am in high season to hold your chair. All beaches in Nice are rocky so bring water shoes or plan on buying them while you are there.

Lou was awesome. He made sure I had a great bed and food and drinks were very good.
