A little bit of eccentric owner, which can make your evening brighter if you’re into this kind of thing. I myself found this one of the best experiences in Niece. Food is good. Try octopus salad and foie gras.

The owner is warm and friendly, you can communicate in English, the fish sauce I ordered was very refreshing, and it was the first time I had grilled peaches.

Great traditional-style restaurant with delicious food and brilliant service! Everything I had (kir provençal, risotto and pistachio crème brûlée) was fantastic and reasonably priced for the area. The waiter was very friendly and made the atmosphere comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend!

Toller Service, wirklich gutes Essen auf recht hohem Niveau. Extrem freundlich, zuvorkommend und persönlich. Ein Riesenunterschied beispielsweise zum Touristen Junkfood in der Altstadt. Gerne wieder!

Petit restaurant mais un vrai trésor, on a mangé trés trés bien des plats typiques et de qualité dans un context vraiement suggestif; en plus, merci à Damien pour le service, il a été trop gentil et disponible, spécialement avec ma femme qui est encinte et ne peux pas manger normalement. À ne pas manquer!

Un vrai coup de cœur ! Ce restaurant traditionnel français allie parfaitement authenticité des plats et convivialité hors du commun. On s’y sent comme à la maison, avec un accueil chaleureux et une ambiance sincère. Chaque bouchée respire le fait-maison et le partage. Une adresse à ne surtout pas manquer pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine et de belles rencontres ! Baieta !

Nice is a city which in some of its areas tends to be quite touristic about the food offer, especially in the old town or in other famous spots, where prices are rising beyond any reasonable standard. This restaurant is fairly central (stop "République" of the tramline 1, one after Place Garibaldi), but quite hidden, so that I used TheFork to find it, conveniently 5 minutes walk from my hotel. I have to confirm the most positive feedbacks, the food is delicious, prices are reasonable for a city like Nice (fairly cheap with TheFork discount of 30%), but I like mostly the atmosphere and the service. The only person serving, who I assume is the owner because he acts like a real host, is welcoming guests with exquisite manners and savoir-faire, while about the service is very attentive and careful. The presentation of the dishes is very elegant (I took a look also at what the table next to me ordered) and everything tastes delicious. I expecially liked that the menu is very short - and presented only on blackboards (no paper menu) - which is often an indication of the quality and the freshness of the ingredients. Some extra points for some small kindnesses the restaurant has towards its guests, like the black olives as appetisers, the "digestif" at the end after coffee and the bread, all free of charge. I highly recommend the place, also because I was the only tourist (I speak French but to a limited extent and I can't be confused with a local) while other guests were mainly people living in Nice. Not a touristic spot but an excellent familiar restaurant with a rustical atmosphere and an amazing service.

L'excellente surprise du quartier... Accueil chaleureux, aperos et amuses bouche au top, cuisine raffinée, dessert maison, petite cave très sympa et si vous avez la chance de tomber sur une soirée tout à cent... Alors là ce sera le top..... Petit clin d'œil en passant

Jefe bebido y trato denigrante: una estafa a turistas

Si queréis un sitio donde os traten como basura por ser turistas, este es el lugar. 5€ por un café, y ni siquiera estábamos en el centro de Niza. El “jefe”, bebido, nos ha insultado cuando le hemos reclamado el precio. Al pedirle el ticket, se ha hecho el loco, pretendiendo no entender ni inglés, ni español, ni siquiera cuando intenté chapurrear francés. Y lo peor, he visto con mis propios ojos cómo borraba el precio real del café para poner 5€. Al mencionar que llamaríamos a la policía, nos ha echado a patadas insultándonos.

No es una cuestión de dinero, es la humillación de ver cómo te maltratan solo por ser extranjero. Un lugar que da vergüenza. No se lo recomiendo a nadie.

El bar está muy chulo decorado, el hombre que nos atendió, creo que el jefe, va un poco de graciosillo, y se puede equivocar, lo que comimos no fue para nada justificado con el precio.. 1Litro de agua 8€, imaginaros la totalidad por 1 entrante, medio filete de merluza con salsa y un medallon de solomillo que pesaría 130 gramos, 2 litros de agua y 2 jarras de cerveza, 1 postre y 1 cortado, 108€.No lo recomiendo para nada
