En el Puerto Viejo, JAN es un restaurante íntimo con 18 comensales por turno, que ofrece una experiencia gastronómica singular y una exploración culinaria única de la cocina local y de temporada con sabores sudafricanos. El chef creció en una granja de Middelburg y rinde un maravilloso homenaje a su tierra natal, así como a su tierra de adopción. Tanto el menú clásico como el de autor se presentan en 5 y 7 platos y ofrecen una combinación explosiva de sabores. JAN también ofrece una extensa torre de 91 quesos en la zona de MARIA.

Each course was a masterpiece, with flavour combinations and textures that surprised and delighted us throughout the evening. The presentation was impeccable, and the wine pairings elevated the dishes to another level. It’s clear that this is a kitchen where passion, precision, and creativity meet.
Dining here is so much more than just a meal — it’s an experience, and one I’ll remember forever. Chef Jan and his team have created something truly world-class, and it made me incredibly proud to see a fellow South African making such an extraordinary mark in the culinary world.
