Este castillo es a la vez una casa rural y un bed and breakfast

Situado en el corazón del pueblo de Ancemont, a menos de 5 minutos de Dieue-sur-Meuse, el Château de Labessière es una dirección de prestigio. Marie-José y René Eichenauer le abren las puertas de esta hermosa residencia del siglo XVIII llena de carácter. Alójese en una de las tres habitaciones: la Habitación del Parque, la Habitación Azul o la Habitación Romántica, todas decoradas con esmero y gusto. Se sentirá como una princesa y un príncipe con las camas con dosel y los toques románticos. El salón Luis XV y el comedor Luis XVI son magníficos.

Pour une découverte, c'en fut une ! un bond dans le temps dans cet écrin décoré avec gout et soins. La chambre bleue est grandiose en décoration, et le lit comme il faut.|Quant aux repas, comment dire ? tout était parfait, fraicheur des produits, (la fameuse terrine de brochet...), les variétés de plats différents tous les jours, les fromages, et les desserts...le soufflet à la bergamote, profiteroles à la mirabelle etc, etc. |Nous sommes venus pour un chemin de mémoire familial, dû aux conséquences de la Grande Guerre avec de grandes marches pour visiter les différents lieux des combats et de recueillements, nous avons trouvé la paix et le repos au domaine. ||Merci de votre accueil ; )||Thierry et Isabelle

An absolutely wonderful stay! We have stayed in dozens of Chambres/Tables d'Hotes over the years and Chateau de Labessiere is right up with the best of them. From the friendly, warm, welcome to the final farewell, we were made to feel completely at home. The house itself, restored by René from a near ruin, is beautiful; full of interesting furniture, pictures etc (ask about the Joan of Arc pictures...). The bedroom was huge and really comfortable, with the bonus of an outside terrace. The quality of the evening meals was extremely high, well up to "top" restaurant standards, and the breakfasts were really generous too. An added bonus was that René shares my interest in "classic" cars so we had a couple of interesting conversations on that subject. Highly recommended, and I hope we will return!

Incredible experience! Go when you are in or near Verdun or make a special trip. From the moment we inched our way through the tall, but narrow, wrought iron gates we knew we were in for a treat. This 27 room chateau is owned and delicately cared for my Rene and Maire-Jose but ONLY 2 rooms are open to guests...how perfect is that! This couple has renovated the chateau and you will feel like you stepped back in time but with total elegance. Marie-Jose is a 3 star chef and the dining room is incredible. While Marie-Jose is cooking you will be entertained by Rene and the history of the chateau. And beyond the unique experience you will be very pleased with the great value. Let me not forget the wonderful breakfast...|Merci beaucoup Rene et Marie-Jose!!!

We stayed for one night on our way to Dusseldorf. It was a delightful experience and we very much recommended it. Our hosts were very gracious and welcoming. The food served was home cooked and absolutely delicious with 5 star presentation. The decor was in keeping with the traditional theme of the chateau and quite beautiful. A wonderful stay!
