A beautiful museum that displays the history of France during wwii, the aftermath of German occupation, the role of Charles de Gaulle as the leader of free france, and victory in Europe along with the allies, with a display of many amazing artifacts, photos, uniforms, flags and personal items and stories. Very beautiful history.

The museum is well laid out with a variety of exhibits. Most exhibits had English but some were only in French. The presentation is broad and encompasses so much more than I expected. I walked away with a deeper realisation of how many individuals played a role in the liberation of France.

Bei einem Paris Besuch ist dieses Museum Pflicht. Beeindruckende Ausstellungsstücke, spannende Exponate. Hier findet man Geschichte über Paris und Napoleon. Es ist eine Reise durch die Vergangenheit, die fast lebendig wirkt. Nehmen sie sich genug Zeit und gehen sie am besten am Wochentag außerhalb der Ferien zu diesem Museum. Das Grab von Napoleon befindet sich direkt nebenan. Keine Wartezeiten und nicht voll. Auch der Innenhof mit den Kanonen sind sehenswert.

Un musée exceptionnel, à la fois émouvant et instructif. Les expositions sont riches, bien documentées et mettent en lumière des parcours de vie héroïques. Le lieu rend un hommage poignant aux Compagnons de la Libération, avec une muséographie moderne et sobre. Parfait pour les passionnés d’histoire et ceux qui souhaitent mieux comprendre la Résistance et la Seconde Guerre mondiale. À ne pas manquer lors d’une visite aux Invalides !

Das Musée de l'Ordre de la Libération ist ein sehr beindruckender Ort. Es gibt sehr viele Informationen und sehr viel zu entdecken. Man sollte sich viel Zeit dafür nehmen um diesen Ort zu erkunden.

Musée inclut dans l'établissement des Invalides ( même billet d'entrée ) , qui présente les actions de la résistance en France et dans les colonies avec la libération progressive des territoires.
A l'étage est présenté la partie consacrée aux déportations et exécutions dans les camps de la mort ou de nombreux résistants ne sont jamais revenus.

Very interesting museum. One ticket includes access to the Musée de l'Armée, Napoleon's Tomb, Musée de l'Ordre de la Libération. It is part of Hotel National Des Invalides. Amazing tour through France Resistance and Liberation. Authentic unforms and weapons. Highly recommended.
