Always a fabulous place to explore, for its history, its whimsy, and its seashells, its amazing drawers of butterflies and beetles, let alone the mammals that stand in interesting relationships to each other. Unforgettable.

An unusual display of stuffed (real) animals that you won’t see anywhere else, that’s for sure! Amazing collections of mounted bugs, butterflies, birds, and beetles! Wow. That’s all I can say.

If you are into this stuff, the prices are actually reasonable too!

Una tienda que impresiona. Se puede entrar gratuitamente y también comprar lo que tienen: animales disecados de todo tipo como leones, cebras, aves exóticas, muchísimos insectos y mariposas, libros sobre anatomía, botánica, zoología e incluso
minerales, esqueletos y fósiles. Además no fomentan la caza para la taxidermia, sino la preservación educativa y estética de ejemplares ya fallecidos, por lo que entrar es casi como estar en un museo. En mi caso adquirí una mariposa, que ellos mismos te empaquetan en una caja especial pagando un suplemento.

Belle boutique d'animaux empaillés et d'insectes. On y entre pour l'ambiance et pour la visite plus que pour acheter.
Ne pas hésiter à entamer une conversation avec le personnel sur le braconnage, la chasse ou les espèces rares. Le sujet n'est pas tabou et les réponses parfois surprenantes.

Un magasin incroyable, il faut monter au 1 er étage (escaliers)pour découvrir le magnifique cabinet de curiosité , 3 salles enfilades. surprenant et superbement mit en scène, j ai découvert des animaux que je n avais jamais vu et découvert leur taille réelle. Le personnel était très courtois.

What a unique place to go in Paris! I'm not even into taxidermy, but my friend is so we went to Deyrolle. Wow! The amount and variety of animals they have is outstanding! It's art, it's amazing.

I'm a vegetarian animal lover and I was not offended by any of it. It is a no kill, natural death source taxidermy.

You see everything from tiny insects to sloths to rhino to beautiful birds honored in this packed multi-room upstairs shop. No photos allowed. They do sell and really nice books.
