APARTMENT LOCAFLAT ESPACE GREUZE

Lol, funny to see some things never change. I rented an apartment some 25 years ago on Rue de Rhennes from Locaflat. No rats that I know of, but the place was FILTHY! My wife and I cleaned for three days straight before we felt somewhat comfortable in it. When we complained vociferously on day 1, they did send a cleaning lady over, but she only stayed for 1/2 an hour and then vanished with a trace or a goodbye. It's a shame because the apartment was beautiful and well-located.

Nous avons loué un appartement sans visite préalable car nous étions à l’étranger et nous n’avons pas pris en compte les avis sur cette agence. Cela nous a coûté cher !

• Rendez-vous manqué : Nous avions fixé un rendez-vous à 13h pour recevoir l'appartement, mais le représentant de l'agence s'est présenté à 16h, sans aucune explication.
• État des lieux d'entrée : L'appartement était extrêmement sale.
• Humidité et moisissures : Le taux d’humidité était supérieur à 70 %, entraînant des moisissures partout.
• Problèmes de souris : Nous avons rencontré des problèmes de souris et en avons informé l’agence, mais aucune action concrète n’a été prise (vous devrez y vivre avec).
• Communication inexistante : Il était impossible de joindre l’agence. Les messages étaient lus mais restaient sans réponse, démontrant un manque flagrant de professionnalisme.
• État des lieux de sortie : Nous avions confirmé une date et une heure pour l’état des lieux de sortie. Cependant, le représentant de l'agence ne s’est pas présenté et a envoyé un message à l’heure du rendez-vous pour dire qu’il aurait plus d’une heure de retard, alors que nous avions arrêté de travailler pour pouvoir effectuer cet état des lieux. Cela témoigne encore une fois du manque de professionnalisme.
• Dépôt de garantie : Pour finir, le dépôt de garantie de 2500 euro ne nous a toujours pas été rendu, ce qui est inacceptable et démontre le manque de sérieux et de professionnalisme de l’agence. Nous avons entamé les procédures judiciaires.

En résumé, notre expérience avec Locaflat a été désastreuse et nous ne la recommandons absolument pas! Soyez prudents et vérifiez bien les avis avant de vous engager.

Honestly it’s a pity that you cannot give less than zero stars. I’ve been living all around the world these years and I’ve had good and bad experiences, but I’ve never experienced such a terrible experience!

My colleague and I rented a tiny flat in the 16eme. Clearly as soon as I arrived in January the apartment was extremely dirty and far from how it looked online. But that’s fine, it’s very common in Paris. Let me just note down couple things that may be relevant for next tenants.

- wardrobes completely broken inside that risk to fall on you and compromise your safety
- all the drawers had mold and oily drops inside, absolutely disgusting
- toilets stinky from day zero, couldn’t get rid of the terrible smell and - of course - mold on ceiling
- but wait because I’ve still had not share the worse part. We had rats coming in and out our apartment at their convenience. Tried to ask for help or support from landlord. Zero lead on this. I’ve been told it’s normal and no support has been granted. Despite I’ve called deratization, they kept coming in every month because there are wholes behind the kitchen and a bit here and there around the house as we’ve discovered with months passing.

As other already commented, it’s been two months we left and still have not received our (huge) deposit back. We are now starting a legal process but it’s absolutely incredible that these things keep happening in Paris.

Needless to say, absolutely not recommended.

Terrible experience, stay away from this agency. We rented an apartment in the 16e and was given in terrible conditions, dirty and with many rats. Now it has been two months after we moved out and the agency has become unresponsive and has failed to return more than 3k in security deposit. They keep ignoring messages and calls. It is a scam and you should avoid it
