Situado a 200 metros de Notre Dame y muy cerca de la plaza Maubert, el Hotel Abbatial Saint-Germain goza de una ubicación muy privilegiada. El establecimiento ha sido completamente renovado en un estilo moderno, sobre todo el vestíbulo de recepción y el salón lounge con pufs y sofás multicolores, grandes espejos con fondo y un papel que engaña a una biblioteca. Las habitaciones, modernas también son más clásicas. Todas están equipadas con doble acristalamiento, pero las que dan al patio son más tranquilas. Algunas de las plantas de los pisos 5 y 6 tienen unas bonitas vistas a la cúpula del Panteón y a Notre Dame. El desayuno se sirve en una sala abovedada de piedra vista como en muchos hoteles del barrio.

First of all, the staff and management were delightful, including, the Manager Karim, Veronique, William and the breakfast hostess, Ella. I received the most excellent service! When I arrived the room was terribly hot, especially at night since the hotel does not turn on the air conditioning until Summer. They provided me with a pedestal fan for my comfort! I noticed that my bed was very uncomfortable and asked them if they could correct the lumpiness. The next night, they did something to the bed, I wish I knew but it was gloriously comfortable for the entire two weeks. My room had a street facing balcony with the lovely Église Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet directly in front of my window, bells chiming on the hour and half-hour. Being two blocks from the Maubert-Mobilité Metro Station made my stay convenient! There were several cafés and restaurants a short walk from the hotel, plus the River Seine was only 650 feet away. I could cross the bridge right there and the rejuvenated NOTRE DAME de PARIS was a short stroll away!
I was so pleased with the enthusiasm they demonstrated with me that I if return to Paris next year, I will definitely choose HOTEL ABBATIAL SAINT- GERMAIN over any other!
