The bread was good, but the staff repeatedly ignored us and brought us the wrong drink. There was a French lady sitting next to us (we were sitting outside) and the staff was much nicer to her. I asked for a receipt, the waiter nodded and left. When he was making rounds again, the lady asked for a receipt, and the staff brought it to her immediately. I was ignored and I had to ask again. Maybe he didn't understand me? I don't know, but I would not come back here again.

Decades ago, as a sleepless student walking the streets one last time before getting on the plane home, I went in to Panis and was treated to a hot cafe, a warm croissant, and an even warmer welcome. Last week, my daughter and I took shelter here during a sudden rainstorm, and we were treated and served wonderfully. You'd think with this location it would be a bit of a tourist trap, but it's really not. It's just a great cafe.

Un peu chanceux,j'ai eu une banquette "vip" collée sur la vitrine face à Notre Dame.Service excellent.Soupe oignon généreuse et très très chaude soyez patient en la dégustant.J'ai pris les cuisses de grenouilles,je crois les moins chère de Paris,et elles étaient parfaites,ca se mange comme des "Wings". Belle expérience.

Restaurant choisi en fonction de sa proximité avec Notre Dame. De bons plats hamburgers, poulet. Mais salades à déconseiller absolument.
Par contre le personnel très bien, agréables, rapides.

Kept it simple cheese board delicious. Good decaf coffee. Bathroom sink made ma laugh as it says automatic but ine has to press.

Volevo sedermi all’ombra e il cameriere si è infastidito. Ho chiesto una bottiglia d’acqua e ridendo me ne ha portato una da 1 litro diversa rispetto a quella di tutti gli altri pagata la bellezza di 8€. Maleducati

Needed a place for coffee on a chilly Paris day. Stayed for lunch. Shared a burger (with melted Chamenbert ) and a cheese plate trio. Both sensational. Service was excellent, our waiter was very professional and the atmosphere was bustling without being too loud. May well become our new favourite Bistro in Saint Michael. PS. We are coming back for the Cafe Gourmand.
Wine ???? choices were also very good….

Die Aussicht, die Location es ist ein schönes Café wo man sich wohlfühlen kann wenn es nicht zu sehr überfüllt ist. Ich war hier 2023 .

It was so bad. The service is rude and the food is disgusting. I ordered a croissant burger. I tasted the beef and I almost threw up. The manager had an attitude and told me I had to pay for it even though I only tasted the beef. I am sure it had been in storage for months. I paid for it and after disputing with my bank, I got my money back. But do not come to this establishment if you don’t want the same experience.

The food was decent. it's right across from the cathedral of Notre Dame, so it had a ton of tourist traffic right in front of it period which was kind of irritating. The continental breakfast was a fantastic deal however, I definitely wouldn't skip it, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.

Je suis allée plusieurs fois dans ce petit café restaurant. Très bien situé ( juste en face de la cathédrâle de Notre Dame ), il n'a cependant rien d'extraordinaire. J'y suis allée pour le réveillon du jour de l'an 2016 et...les prix étaient chers par rapport à la qualité des plats. C'était très classique, sans plus... Ce qui nous a irrité c'était le comportement du serveur. Il fallait que ça aille vite, on aurait dit un robot. Aucune sympathie. Je n'avais pas terminé mon entrée qu'il avait déjà retiré les assiettes de mes amis qui avaient fini de manger. Du coup nous n'avons pas eu les plats en même temps. A la fin du repas, c'était limite s'il ne nous disait pas de dégager de la table ! On a été servis à une vitesse folle pour sortir le plus vite possible de table alors que j'avais effectué une réservation à l'avance. Scandaleux !!!
