Prix élevés, qualité médiocre. Viandes insipides, salade non assaisonnée, frites tièdes, service brutal et ambiance bruyante.

Nice vibe attracted us to walk in. Ordered 2 glasses of champagne, everything seemed lovely till my champagne was served flat. I told my table host that I don’t like my champagne without bubbles, and his attitude changed dramatically… taking the old one and coming back with the ‘new glass’ which was topped up with an inch of what was a bubbling champagne. No bubbles once again after 2 minutes (pictured). Manager was understanding of hospitality, and it seemed everyone else too… restaurant would’ve been perfect without the host’s rudeness and attitude. One person can really ruin a business. Sandwich was yum.

Friendly spot with a cracking view – perfect for a pre-hill pint!

Stopped off here for a quick drink before heading up to Sacré-Cœur and it was a great little find. We sat outside with a lovely view of the area – perfect for people-watching and soaking in the atmosphere.

Pints were €9.50, which is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s a prime location so not unexpected. We didn’t eat, but the food coming out looked decent and the place had a nice, relaxed feel to it.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. All in all, it set us up nicely for the trek up the hill to Sacré-Cœur. Would happily pop in again for a drink in the sunshine.

Une valeur sûre dans le Marais. Bien situé au croisement de la rue de Bretagne, Le Progrès est le genre d’adresse où l’on revient facilement. L’ambiance est vivante, sans chichi, avec une terrasse toujours animée. C’est un bon spot pour boire un verre, croiser du monde, ou simplement faire une pause dans le quartier. Les prix sont corrects pour le coin, le service efficace. Pas besoin d’en faire trop : c’est un classique parisien qui fait le job.

quant aux boissons on a demandé un chocolat chaud il avait un goût étrange amer probablement du lait tourné… bref un lieu uniquement pour se montrer en terrasse si vous aimez ça ! En plus sale!

Service cata, au delà de la salade vraiment fade au possible amenée sans pains sans huile, je découvre une frite dans ma salade, j'en fait part à une serveuse qui ne me répond pas à tel point que je pense qu'elle n'a pas entendue, je lui demande donc si elle a eu l'information elle me dit je sais pas quoi vous dire elle a dû sautee !

Bar bien situé où l'on peut voir souvent passer du beau monde et faire de belles rencontres. Les prix sont très corrects. Cependant, quelques fois le service n'est pas toujours des plus aimables et c'est souvent bondé. Je recommande tout de même !

The food was just okay, but WOW the atmosphere was AMAZING! The main server (you'll know who I'm talking about when you go) has a great energy about him and is super helpful when picking out what to eat - it was very entertaining and my group of friends and I enjoyed getting a late lunch here. I would highly recommend coming for a casual lunch with great service. A good place to people watch too.

I visited this cafe over the weekend and the service was diabolical. We were greeted by a tall waiter with a ponytail who in response to us saying ‘hello’, told us to get out of his way, threw some menus at us and left us standing on the pavement where he then ignored us.

We eventually sat down (god knows why we hadn’t left by this point), waved at him to which he replied….’I am serving, but I won’t serve you’. Then said something to a nearby table who all laughed and looked over but we didn’t understand as we don’t speak great French. Can only assume it was not a flattering comment. This was in fact the only time in our 3 day trip to Paris where I thought …I’m actually thrilled not to be able to understand French.

At this point, once again, we should have walked out but think we were both so shocked that we ended up staying put. Finally a lady served us, who we naively thought was going to be nicer but no…she was also unfriendly and dismissive. We ordered a drink and even though we were looking directly at the food menu, she whipped them out of our hands and walked off. We managed to claw them back and order although clearly this was a great annoyance to her.

The whole experience was utterly bizarre and unpleasant. Food was also average….2 salads with a tiny bit of tasteless dressing and a bowl of chips. Thankfully the glass of rose was drinkable which we needed for our shredded nerves. I’d suggest spending your hard earned cash somewhere that deserves it.

Pourri comme endroit gérant exécrable et irrespectueux il est croît qu'il est gérant dans le cac40 alors que c'est un employé comme y en a des million ma sympathie en moins et ne prennent pas la carte pour le tabac , seule point positive le personnel et les serveurs serveuse sont sympa et proffessionel

Le progrès est une référence pour tout les visiteurs du nord Sarthe!

Haris mets une tempête à Antoine x1000!!!

Très bonne adresse, bonne nourriture avec des prix super abordables ainsi qu’une atmosphère très agréable. Mais ce qui fait la différence c’est le service (big up à Haris <3)!
Cette adresse deviendra un passage obligé pour moi (surtout pour le ti’ punch),je recommande.

Super nourriture, ambiance et personnel ! Je recommande fortement, une très bonne adresse au Marais.
