LE BURGUNDY PARIS ^{* * * * *}

We stayed 2 nights. At check in , 2pm, one of our party on entering their room (503) commented on toilet /sewage smell and asked to change room. Informed none available but the fault would be rectified . We returned in the evening - lesser smell . We later went out for dinner, returned at 12, and informed we missed the residents bar, people still there, but ok. Went to bed.

The next morning 503 commented on smell again. We had breakfast , 4 of us had poached eggs - looked amazing - unfortunately cold ((2 sets were fridge cold) . Two people sent theirs back , came back the same - with dirty plates.

Went out all day, returning at 6pm, smell same and front desk informed. No change of room.

We returned after dinner, 11.40, same server in lounge, closed door as we approached- informed bar closed sgain, we asked politely again, firm no. Asked where we could get a drink - informed the mandarin nearby, which she informed us was lovely, had a bar called 8, we could have a drink. We went there and had two lovely rounds @ 150euro per round, returned perfectsatisfied.

Next morning had breakfast elsewhere due not wanting to have to have unreliable food and checked out at 9.30. (Stored bags in reception - thank you. Funnily enough we did sit down @ in atrium for coffee and a drink , but infmed that lovely bright area not a spas only served afternoon tea there !! , so we waited in the darker bar for our transport)

I appreciate the opportunity to sit our views, we won’t be posting on review sites as we don’t like being associated with negative reviews.

As business owners we found all of these issues annoying, disappointing, easily rectified, and lazy.

Le petit gâteau que nous avons dégusté le dimanche soir à la maison nous a transporté. Les cocktails étaient délicieux.

Comme toujours, nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour à l'hôtel. Nous avons cependant été déçus par la qualité des petits déjeuners (pris en chambre comme nous le faisons d'habitude); le pain et surtout les viennoiseries ne semblaient pas frais. Les viennoiseries nous ont semblé être de la veille. La formule continentale pourrait également être un peu plus étoffée et/ou comporter un peu plus d'originalité. Merci

I ordered a bottle of champagne for when my fiancé arrives. I made the booking as a surprise for her and her best friend to shop for wedding dresses. I paid in advance. What happened? I honestly could not be more disappointed. They arrived. Stayed an hour. Left. No champagne. I called the reception half an hour after the arrival to go please bring the champagne and he said he does not care but I should be happy they got an upgrade?? I wanted the stay to be perfect for my fiancé to find her perfect wedding dress. We agreed that they get the champagne when they arrive with the welcome card. I paid in advance. Please at least explain to me why you ruined this.

mais si on doit vraiment cherchez quelque chose:
- à la réception peut etre mettre un fauteuille en plus pour ceux qui doivent patienter
- à l'arrivé peut etre proposer une rafraichissement (une eau parfume)
