From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help in any way they could! The location was safe, quiet, and convenient to two metro stations. The room was nice, and breakfast was good. We had a lovely stay - thank you!

We had a great stay here! The room wasn’t huge, but it was super modern, stylish, and even had a bit of an artistic vibe. There were so many thoughtful little details – like rubber ducks, fun quotes on the ceiling, and clever decor touches that made it really special. The whole hotel is full of charm, with things like books, a photo booth, and cozy spaces to explore.

But the best part? The team! Super friendly, young, and genuinely cool staff who really seem to care about making your stay great. We felt very welcome and well looked after.

We’ll definitely be back!

A wonderful hotel: authentic hospitality, amazing and adorable staff, delicious breakfast and super comfortable rooms. True luxury is authenticity. I am coming since 2016 and each time looking forward to visiting the hotel as much as the city:)

We had an amazing stay at this hotel!
The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit.
Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location is perfect—close to everything we needed, yet quiet and relaxing.

Thomas and his team are super!!! Close to the metro and walking distance to many attractions. Excellent neighborhood for shops, restaurants and quiet at night. Ask Thomas for recommendations - they are all fabulous!! From the time we entered the hotel until the day we left, we felt special!! I’m already planning to return. Merci beaucoup Thomas!!

Boutique hotel with family feel service & vibes. Warm quirky lobby. Thomas & team excellent gave advice. |Short 5 minute walk to essentials - Carrefour, Cafe Petite (best pastries), Utopie (voted top bakery and best baguette in past although we found Cafe Petite better but try both. Large Monoprix supermarket about 8 mins walk - excellent range of food & essentials. |Note we stayed in a balcony room - their larger/largest room enhancing stay. |Excellent location on quiet side street.|Close to excellent Marais food market - Marché des Enfants Rouges - must visit & the street it’s located with great food stalls and brasseries

The staff were super attentive to us! We had a clean and comfortable room with a balcony. The hotel's location is convenient to the metro, market, grocery stores, and cafes.

Hard-working and friendly staff, the rooms are clean and hygienic with nice soaps. The breakfast had multiple variations of proteins and carbs, fruit, and veggies. Additionally, there is a vast selection of juices, jams, nuts, seeds, and muesli. Youthful, trendy atmosphere and overall good feelings for a 3 night stay. Nearby Republique and Oberkampf metro stations. Walkable distance to many tourist attractions and shopping areas. Merci beaucoup!

Fabuloso alojamiento, con estilo minimalista pero muy acogedor, infinidad de amenities, desayuno completo. Ubicación fantástica, a escasos metros de metro República. Pero lo que lo hace inigualable es su personal, con especial mención a Giannice que te hace estar como en casa y solventa incluso lo que parece irresoluble, y también al joven que en la madrugada del 4 de mayo nos preparó anticipadamente el desayuno pues nuestro vuelo salía temprano. Perfecta relación calidad-precio. Repetiré sin duda

We stayed at Le Général Hôtel from April 30 to May 3 to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at home—friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. They gave great recommendations, helped us plan our trip, and even surprised us with a sweet birthday welcome in our room. The hotel was clean, stylish, and cozy, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. We truly appreciated the personal touches and exceptional service. Highly recommended!

This little boutique hotel is really a "bijoux". Clean, young staff very kind, excellent breakfast. The hotel is ubicated really close to Marais, reachable by feet in few minutes; it is near to important metro station so you can go everywhere really fast. we enjoied our staiing a lot. Thank you

The hotel is very nice - extremely helpful with friendly staff. Hotel location is directly at the Place de la Republique - which means public transport gets you everywhere fast. Our room was very quite but small, and the double bed was only 140cm width, so half a star down.

Felicissimi di aver prenotato questo albergo che consiglio vivamente anche a chi è in sedia a rotelle. Per salire/scendere i gradini di accesso all' hotel c è una rampa manuale che viene prontamente predisposta appena ti vedono arrivare! Camera con spazi comodi per la sedia ( bagno con doccia compresi). C'è stato un piccolo problema con la luce del bagno, prontamente risolto. I ragazzi della reception tutti molto disponibili e gentili. E poi nella hall c'erano sempre dei buoni dolcetti per tutti! GRAZIE DI CUORE. Paola, Diego e Giulio

Chambre confortable, literie agréable, produits L'Occitane appréciés.
Petit-déjeuner très complet (saumon fumé, jus frais) et personnel très agréable.
Quelques points à améliorer : chambre un peu petite pour le prix (classique à Paris), télévision qui bug, insonorisation moyenne et quelques éléments de l’hôtel mériteraient une rénovation.

Perfect location to move around the city; the staff was very helpful and friendly. We arrived a little bit early and we were able to get our room before we expected. Is a small hotel that allows to have a personalized service and more close connection with the staff.
The breakfast selection was good and was price value. Unfortunately we didn’t had time to explore all the facilities from the hotel but is a good excuse to come back.

An amazing experience from start to end. The welcome was great. We were quite late checking in and the guy on the counter already knew our names and issues us promptly with a welcome drink.
We did realise we had a double room but preferred a twin (I snore a lot so annoy the OH) we asked if it could be changed but there were no rooms available. In the morning they arranged to move our rooms while we were out sightseeing and actually moved everything to an upgraded twin room for us which was amazing service.
During our stay we got recommendations on restaurants and bars which did not disappoint and we had breakfast included which was top quality and just what we needed to set us up for the day.
The ambience and feel of this hotel is great, really personal and always a smile from every staff member who could not do enough to make sure your stay was perfect.
Beds were very comfy and the spotlessly clean throughout. Great toiletries and facilities in the room all included.
When we checked out, we were able to leave our bags, and on collection they offered us coffee/refreshments before we left.
Overall - it made for a perfect weekend and would return in a heartbeat if we were to make the trip again.

This gets 5/5 for being a 4 star hotel. It’s nothing crazy fancy, but it absolutely does its job. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had mini pastries in the lobby which were surprisingly good. Didn’t really use the gym but there was a sauna which was a cherry on top. The beds were comfy, and the bathrooms had a bath tub which was nice (as a part of the shower). The location (oberkampf) is young and hip. Definitely not the fanciest area of Paris, but within walking distance to Marais and even further west if you like walking. Would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

אני ובעלי התארחנו במלון, השירות יוצא דופן!!! כבר מקבלת הפנים הנעימה והאישית שקיבלו אותנו עד לחדר שהיה מרווח, נקי ונעים. הצוות נתון לעזור בכל עת ומאוד שירותי. המיקום קרוב לתחנת republic משם ניתן להגיע לכל מקום. מאוד נהנינו ובהחלט נחזור!
