The hallways were filthy—damaged walls, stained carpets that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, and an overall neglected feel. Our shared room had four bunk beds. The frames and lockers were decent (though mine was broken), but the room itself reeked. It had a strong, sour smell that lingered all night, even with the windows open—and the room was empty when we arrived, so it wasn’t just someone’s odor.
The bedding was disgusting. My blanket had multiple stains, and the wall next to my bed had gross yellow drip marks. I ended up cramming into my boyfriend’s bed just to avoid touching anything.
The bathroom was just as bad—no soap, grime all over the sink and fixtures, and my boyfriend found feces in one of the men’s showers (photo included). We didn’t shower because towels aren’t provided, but honestly, I wouldn’t have used those showers anyway.
We felt dirty just being there. The online photos are totally misleading. This hostel is run-down and unsanitary. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

Wifi speed can be improved on. Luggage would cost a bomb for a two jaunt though Paris!????
