Its in a beautiful setting with its quiet and stunning gardens so well kept. Strongly scented roses around the door in our beautiful ground floor room, Remy and Kevin are exceptional hosts. Warm, friendly, polite and engaging and happy to share information of lovely places to visit. They both have making their guests feel so welcome to share 'Cale de la Clauderie' off to a fine art !!!. We had an amazing stay with a gorgeous continental breakfast home made with local produce. The evening meal was so tasty, again everything home made and great desserts. Even drinks sourced locally were on offer with food. The room was divine with so much room and such a comfy bed. The decor is exquisite throughout. The shower was hot and powerful so welcome after being on the motorcycle. There was a lovely lounge area on the upper floor with books and games. The swimming pool is a real good size, surrounded by a fence with stunning shrubs and flowers. There is plenty of parking on the large private drive and we were given indoor parking for our motorbike. A lovely surprise. Although it was not the right weather for a swim, we will use this as an excuse to return to see them both. Not that an excuse would ever be needed. We would highly recommend a stay here.
