Hotel con habitaciones muy cálidas y acogedoras

Este hotel destaca por su proximidad a la famosa Laguna Azul, a sólo 2 minutos en coche. Esta ubicación privilegiada se refleja en el precio, por supuesto, pero el servicio y la amabilidad del personal también son dignos de este lugar. Las 72 habitaciones están bien equipadas y tienen vistas al centro geotérmico de Svartsengi o a los campos de lava. También hay una zona de spa (que puede o no estar incluida en el precio, según el tipo de habitación) y el excelente restaurante Max, llamado así por el perro perdido de los dueños.

Room very spacious and very clean. Location perfect for Blue Lagoon and close to KEF airport. Also MAX restaurant was delicious. All people that work there very attentive. I definitively recommend the hotel.

Easy trip from KEF. 2 minutes to the Blue Lagoon. Staff was very helpful and rooms were very clean. I found it very interesting that they an honor policy when it comes to getting soda, beer, chips ect...

In Max's Restaurant, I definitely recommend the fish & chips. They were awesome!!

Very good three stars hotel in the Blue Lagoon area.
Much cheaper than actual 4 stars hotel at the blue lagoon with very short (either 5 minutes by car or 20 min paved walk) distance between the Blue lagoon and the hotel.

Spacious and clean rooms with TV, en-suite bathroom and surprisingly modern 4 parts recycling been (I never came across it in hotel rooms).
Everything was properly working.
Our room had a view towards the thermal power station. We slept with our window opened and I found constant low sound from the power station’s turbines quite comforting - kind of sea or a waterfall.
Another room for our family was facing inner courtyard. It was absolutely quiet, but I personally preferred the one facing the power station.
Night view at the power station is better then during day time as the station is lit.
The hotel has Honesty bar where you can have tea coffee, some drinks and snacks with free access. You only have to put down what you took in a journal. To be paid later on checking out.
The reception desk personnel was very helpful and friendly.
The restaurant was very good, worth going even you are not hotel guest.
They offer tasting of variation of single malt Icelandic Whisky - very interesting, I recommend to try
The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice.
Plenty of free parking in fount of the hotel.

First time in Iceland — very happy with everything at Northern Lights Inn. The best part is that you can ask hotel to call you if there’s Northern Lights activity!!! You go outside and just have to look up!

Service is awesome — everybody is very friendly. We had to leave early for the airport, they actually offer a 4am breakfast!

Rooms are very clean! Very spacious! Everything I needed were there. (I wish i could’ve asked for firm pillows).

I would recommend staying here! The Blue Lagoon is 5 mins by car. There is a shuttle so very convenient.
