Le personnel est très gentil.
La restauration est bonne mais sans plus.
Les viennoiseries du petit déjeuner ne sont ps bonne car laissées trop longtemps au four (brûlées et toutes sures), et ce, tous les jours
The location is great with turquoise water sandwiching the property.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the bathroom had a large bathtub. Our fridge didn’t work really so we got a bucket of ice from the restaurant for our bottle of wine.
The staff friendliness was hit or miss - some were super nice and some seemed disinterested. There was a slight language barrier with us not knowing French so that could be it. For English speakers I recommend downloading French on Google translate as this helped.
The food was good we just really didn’t like the seafood trio starter plate - I’ve never had raw seafood with goats cheese before and wouldn’t recommend it and their Tahitian Salad was flavourless. The coconut crab was excellent and I recommend making a booking and letting them know how many crabs you want so you don’t miss out as this does sell out. The prawn pasta and the seafood in cream were good and my friend enjoyed her lamb shank which had a little chocolate drizzle. We didn’t have their breakfast as it’s a buffet style but I would suggest if you need breakfast do it here as the rest of the island doesn’t have a lot to offer for breakfast. You may be able to book breakfast with the local cafe next door called Snack Fassy if you want something local and not buffet. They are only open for Lunch and Dinner unless you check in with them the day before. Coffee on the island is also hard to come by as there’s no cafe culture so we also had this at the hotel.
Drinks at the bar are about standard price for New Caledonia so we had a few but we also got duty free on the way in which I would recommend for wine as I don’t recall seeing a bottle shop on the island. Their cocktails though were super good costing about 1400XPF from memory.
Also you can book a shuttle tour of the island with the hotel or rent a car but note there are not a lot of cars available so book ahead.
Also would suggest if you’re not renting a car to book an airport shuttle ahead of time with the hotel.
