À nos yeux, c'est la meilleure taverne de Plakias. Nous y allons à chaque fin de vacances pour clôturer les bons moments que nous passons ici. La cuisine est merveilleuse et Nikos vous servira de façon très professionnelle. À chaque fois le vin choisi est de très bonne qualité.
Je ne parle même pas de la décoration exceptionnelle et l'ambiance propice à la détente.
Je ne peux que vous recommandez ce restaurant où vous y découvrirez des saveurs enivrantes que vous n'oublierez jamais.

Ganz hervorragendes Speiseangebot. Kein Tavernenambiente, eher ruhig und Loungemäßig. Das Essen ist äußerst gut, das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt. Ausgefallene Rezepte, guter Wein, ganz tolle Desserts. Wir kommen sehr gerne hierher.

Ich kann nicht so ganz die positiven Bewertungen nachvollziehen. Wir waren dort abends zu essen nach einer langen Anreise. Zunächst war die schon in anderen Bewertungen angesprochene Bedienung nicht super freundlich. Dann mussten wir für einen einfachen Greek Salat fast 1h warten. Bis die Hauptspeise angekommen ist vergingen nochmal 30-40min. Und ja was soll ich sagen ich will das essen nicht schlecht reden es hat uns geschmeckt, allerdings sind die Portionen echt klein für den Preis ( fast das doppelt als alle anderen Tavernen die wir auf unserer bis jetzt 10 tägigen Reise waren), zudem kommt zu dem ganzen noch wenn die Preise schon alles hoch sind nicht mal das Wasser oder sonstiges umsonst war!! selbst das Brot welches man als kleine Vorspeise bekommt wurde uns mit 4 Euro berechnet. In jeder wirklich fast jeder Taverne in der wir seit 10 Tagen essen
gab es immer Wasser umsonst, dann auch immer die Vorspeise und meistens sogar einen richtig leckeren Nachtisch aufs Haus und dort waren nicht mal die Preise so hoch wie hier. Insgesamt muss ich daher jedem den Besuch eher abraten und gibt euer Geld eher wo anders aus wo ihr das doppelte an Essen bekommt für den Preis ! Für mich in den 10 Tagen, von allen wirklich allen Restaurants und wir waren nur draußen ,ist die grösste Enttäuschung!

Heel mooi restaurant in Plakias. Eten was heel erg lekker en is verfijnder dat de standaard Griekse restaurants. De sfeer is ook erg prettig, slechts een straatje van de drukke boulevard af en daardoor erg rustig. Zeker een aanrader!

Excellent restaurant, digne d’un semi gastronomique !!! Les plats sont incroyables et gros gros plus pour la tarte au citron qui était époustouflante. Une cuisine travaillée et pleine de saveurs valant très largement leurs prix plus élevés. Le cadre est incroyable malgré le fait que le restaurant ne soit pas en bord de mer. Je recommande les yeux fermés

Tijdens ons 2 daags verblijf in Plakias hebben we hier tweemaal gegeten. Ontzettend lekker (ceviche zeker een aanrader) en mooie setting. Zou zeker terugkomen

Lovely location with really nice atmosphere and professional staff.

- Lamb carpaccio : my friend loved it and said it was the best dish of the place. 10/10 !
- Fava peas was filling, nothing special about it
- Sea bass was absolutely delicious, tasty, simple and the sauce… wow !
- Chocolate tart was one of the best I’ve had in a while

*** negative ***
- Charged for 2 home made sourdough bread that was rock hard and for which we didn’t asked for.
- Tuna tartare was very nice however it was such a small portion for 14€… not a great value for the price.
- The tarama was not what I expected. Of course not the one from the supermarket yet it had no similarities whatsoever. I returned it because it had small dices of meat on top (that I cannot eat). We still were charged for a dish we didn’t eat because it’s revisited and didn’t match dietary restriction. A gesture of goodwill here would have been appreciated.

Thank you Nikos to take the time to explain to us that it exists 3 different types of Tarama after I sent it back for me to understand the why it was so far of what I had in mind. It was very professional and thoughtful of you

Tijdens onze vakantie in Plakias hebben we twee keer gegeten bij dit sfeervolle, kwaliteitsvolle restaurant. Het eten was bijzonder lekker en authentiek met een modern tintje. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en er hangt een ongedwongen sfeer waarin je weg van de drukte van de boulevard kunt genieten van een heerlijk diner. Zeker een aanrader!

On the positives Lovely food, amazing flavours and twists on greek meat and fish dishes. The decor was relaxed crisp design which was not matched by the atmosphere. The music was piano music for a funeral home. The welcome were sterile, it was such a shame if the team medousa gave a warmer welcome were a little more engaging and passionate rather than aloof, almost passive aggressive, they would have a lovely experience to be celebrated! Très belle découverte dans la petite station balnéaire de Plakias ! Excentré des restaurants au bord de mer vous ne serez pas déçus par la décoration, le service et les mets proposés par Medousa ! Ce restaurant est de loin le meilleur que nous avons testés depuis notre arrivée en Crete ! Nous sommes sur de la cuisine bistronomique Crétoise et cela est réellement délicieux ! Je recommande à 1000% ce restaurant ????

Best place to eat in Plakias. Wonderful ambience and very nicely decorated. The food is high quality and beautifully presented. There is no comparable restaurant of this category in this place.

We tried Medousa today and we were impressed. Beautiful gourmet flavours giving traditional plates, a modern twist. Great ambience and very friendly and kind staff/owners. We are very pleased that we have a restaurant like this in Plakias.
