The room for four of us was plenty big enough with room to stretch out. The lady at the front desk was super kind, and they stored our bags after check out so we could wander unencumbered until the ferry arrived. Room and building were much nicer than pictures I’d seen online.

Do not be dissuaded by the weathered exterior, this is a comfortable hotel with very nice rooms. The location, just steps from the ferry, right in downtown, cannot be beat.

We had a room that looks like it was just renovated. So no complaints.
The room was nice and clean, bed was nice,and the bathroom was great.
They replaced towels and made the room up daily.

Location is perfect, only a 2 min walk to the ferry terminal, and a 5 min or less walk to most restaurants.

The only thing I found weird, was the lady checking in before me, asked for a late checkout, and the front desk employee questioned why someone would need a late checkout, and said to check back with the front desk in the morning. I did not think that was good customer service, and you could see it left the lady a little perplexed.

But overall, I would recommend staying here.

Près de tous, et surtout près du port.
Nous avions la chambre à deux lits. Confortable, spacieuse. Les prix sont en euros. Avec le taux de change, ça fait quand même un peu cher pour les Canadiens.
Il faut toujours réserver avant d’arriver. Il n’y a pas beaucoup d’hébergement à Saint-Pierre et à chaque bateau qui arrive il y a du monde qui se précipite à l’hôtel Robert.

We had the suite overlooking the harbor-worth every cent if you’re only there for a day! Very pleasant and tasty breakfast at Buddy.

un quasi monopole qui permet de se reposer sur ses lauriers, mais pour combien de temps encore ? La concurrence s'annonce rude pour ce grand classique de St-Pierre, dont une partie du personnel a oublié l'art de sourire et de bien traiter ses clients.

The location can't be beat! On the harbor, and only about 2 blocks from most of the restaurants and bars. Room was pretty good. It had a mini fridge if that's important to you. Coffee available at the front desk 24 hours a day for 2 Euros. Free parking on the street in front of the hotel or in a lot across the street. Very friendly staff.

What a sweet hotel, close to everything, we loved it, honestly if you start in Newfoundland with Stagehead Tours and then get a tour of the island with Logan of Solomon taxi it all prepares u to enjoy everything the place has to offer and this hotel was very much a part of this.

well located and rooms, though small, are conviently equiped. Would have given better marks if they cared a little more about their customers, but as the hotel is usually sold out during the summer months, they dont really bother. Check in 4 pm and check out 10 am ! This is getting ridiculous as even badly organised hotels do not need 6 hours for cleanup, or at least not all the rooms: It's OK for people departing early, but not convenient for mid-late afternoon flights. A little effort, a little smile and maybe a slightly later checkout for some would be welcome. Very friendly and interesting night staff.

Hotel Robert provides the perfect holiday spot with easy walking access to the ferry, food and local highlights. Quick check in, very accommodating and provided secure luggage storage. We had a ground level double room, modern with lots of towels and pillows but no a/c, it was very clean and spacious for 2 couples (more American standards than typical France) . In the room, the Table/chairs with a fridge was a surprise benefit, and we used it for our rainy day picnic and morning pastry run. Morning breakfast at the on-site restaurant is typical European fare so prepare for that - no protein option. Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Saint Pierre & we will return.

Totally fine. Faint smell of cigarettes, which was expected. Desk attendant spoke quite reasonable English. Room with two queen beds had a bar fridge and decent size bathroom and a large ish table and 4 chairs.

Conveniently located near the ferry terminal. The building is on Main Street, so it’s a little busy and noisy. We splurged for the ocean view room, but it’s really a street view room as it’s on the main floor street level of the Main Street in Saint Pierre, we aren’t leaving our curtains open to look at the water when half of the people walking by are looking in at us, I feel like that’s a bit misleading to call it an ocean view room!

The room itself is modern, clean, recently renovated, in good shape. Comfortable bed, nice shower, staff is helpful with information etc . We paid €150 per night, not bad value considering its modern renovation and location to ferry.

Great hotel and close to the ferry. Breakfast is not included and the Restaurant is not opened every night. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO MAKE RESTAURANT RESERVATIONS IN ADVANCE (at all restaurants not just the hotel) for both lunch and dinner (1 day if possible) in St Pierre. We were told that a ship only comes once per week with fresh food so all St Pierre restaurants limit the number people they take each day so they have enough food for the week. Our 1st night in St Pierre we couldn't get into a restaurant so had to buy sandwiches from a connivence store and eat in the room.

Location was very central...staff was very helpful..room was comfortable..only 2 complaints were no air conditioning and it was wicked hot when we were there so sleep was horrible because you were suffering from the heat and the restaurant that is attached to the hotel has what they call a continental breakfast for 10 Euro...which consists of a croissant..a piece of french bread and a glass of juice or a coffee..or pay 13 euro and add a yogurt and cereal...no real breakfast offered..very disappointing...

The staff is unfriendly and not accommodating ! We were made to feel that we were intruding! The bed was very uncomfortable, no air conditioning, and forget towels! Do not stay here! Asking for information about the town was like pulling teeth! How dare we want to eat something in the afternoon! Misinformation or lacking information is the name of the game at their dumpy hotel.

Un séjour au top au sein de cet hôtel ,la patronne est formidable (elle saura vous accompagner lors de vos demandes ,vous raconter les anecdotes du coin ect )????????
Je réprendai sans hésitation le même hôtel et la même chambre lors de mon prochain séjour
Et merci au monsieur de l'accueil qui a du remplacer au pied levé la personnne qui était en charge de nous servir le petit déjeuner
Un grand Merci à la dame du petit déjeuner (une vrai encyclopédie de l'archipel)

I loved my stay! My room was in a new addition red building, it was clean, spacious, well kept and quiet. The temperature was just right, I did not have to regulate anything. The provided shower gel smelled so good! The staff was friendly and responsive. The on-site Le Buddy restaurant is one of the best on the Island. I would absolutely stay again and highly recommend! Merci!
